I’m trying to item restore a cloak to convert to Tier so I can complete my heroic Tier transmog, but my Item Restore list only goes as far back as items on 10/1/2023, no other items before then show up. Is there another way I can get it back?
It doesn’t have to be upgraded, the base item will do, I just need to convert to Tier to get 9/9 appearance unlocked.
What you see in your restoration list is usually what a GM can see.
If you know the exact item name, you could put in a ticket and ask a GM to look - but chances are good it’s aged out of the system and they won’t be able to see it either.
Okay, it seems like in the past it held onto items at least 6 months backlogged, I guess that is no longer the case to save server space or something?

I don’t know that it was ever so far back as six months, but considering they don’t even hold items for mail restoration after 30 days - I wouldn’t expect item restoration to be any different.
