I had to re DL classic, i wanted to check it out

Man I haven’t touched that char in years lol. she’s still in her spellfire set. bonus i had enough gold on that char to buy a wow token for more game time, score.

While the glow isn’t smart enough to act as a light source that casts illumination on other game objects even on max graphics with raytraced shadows, there’s quite a glow!

ALSO.

Do you see how the ears are tipped forward? Because it’s on a slope and the ears have PHYSICS.

I imagine it’s more of an immersion thing, for Classic. Classic is actually running the modern game engine with a “Classic” skin and ruleset so it could in theory have high-rez new stuff, but doesn’t because people want to be immersed in the (let’s be honest) illusion that they’re playing the version of the game that was available at the time.

Vice-versa…I’m not sure. Maybe to keep Classic players from getting salty that retail players get two pets and they only get one?

Support Ukraine? Yes.

But I hate the fact Blizzard treats Retail and Classic as two separate things. There’s no reason to do this.

You have to PAY a Retail sub to be able to play Classic. But … I can’t access the pet from Classic in Retail???

WHO at Blizzard … THINKS… THIS IS A GOOD IDEA???
