Tiller's Farm Final Quest?

I am exalted with the Tillers
I got the quest to get the 13,14,15 and 16th spot on the farm.

Yesterday I watched “Thunder” the lizard looking dinosaur smash his head against that rock 30-40 times before realizing it may not unlock till tommorow.

Well it’s tomorrow, the dailies have reset and he’s still smashing his head against the rock.

Am I missing something?
I can’t imagine it would take more than a day?

Thunder is no longer in his prime I’m afraid…

Is it also 24h after he started doing it?

It take a set amount of in-game time. There should be a timer up in your buffs area counting down. Timer doesn’t keep going down when logged out. It’s a bad design.

It’s funny, just as you both replied, he finally broke the boulder.

Thank you for the info.

Now your fun really starts!

Do you happen to know the advantage of a helping hand?

Does the recruiting the NPC save you time?

I don’t seem to have the any of their individual reps up to “best friend” yet.

Befriending the NPCs is a largely cosmetic affair. Inviting one to your farm just gives you slightly more convenient access to their normal service, if they have one.

The most notable ones to befriend are Old Hillpaw, who unlocks the Straw Hat transmogs on the quartermaster, Sho, who gives you a Red Cricket pet, Gina, who adds a mailbox to the farm, and Jogu, who will offer his predictions for tomorrow’s crops for free (which is much less useful nowadays).

I usually just invite Jogu to the farm, mainly as an pseudo-RP thing, he’s a homeless drunk at the market, so then he’s got a home at the farm.

Gina does repairs but she’s also like 10 yards away from the farm, so not really much of a time saver moving her in.

Chee Chee: Sheep npcs (Farm Sheep)
Ella: Cat npc (Luna)
Farmer Fung: Yak npc (Shaggy)
Fish Fellreed: Pig npcs (Piggy)
Gina Mudclaw: Mailbox
Haohan Mudclaw: Mushan beast npc (Miss Fifi)
Jogu the Drunk: Free advice (No longer asking gold for tips)
Old Hillpaw: Chicken npcs (Hillpaw’s Chicken)
Sho: Orange tree
Tina Mudclaw: New furnishing in the house[/quote]

I am not sure what you mean by this.

I didn’t notice any difference. I mean having the drunk sitting in my pig pond saved me the whole five seconds of walking to the villidge for crop predictions but I was usually going to go there anyway.

(His crop prediction do save time though.)

When you become best friends they give you stuff for the farm like pigs, sheep, ect and special seeds. I found my farm growing and filling up so much fun!

One piece of advice I will give due to my own screw up: When you no longer need to do quests for rep, find the one each day that still awards an Ironpaw Token and continue to do at least that one as those tokens save a ton of time when going for the various cooking Masters.

Thank you for the information

No problem! I think the Tillers grind is worth it, even if it’s just to have a nice cozy spot to chill in.

It did that to me before. I had to make a ticket, I think
Its supposed to stop after 15 minutes and the quest is finished.

Some of the more interesting content in the entire game.
Ive done the tiller thing on a dozen or more characters.
Cant wait to leave the starting zone and go straight into Mists when SL comes around

I think I’m going to have a full level session through MoP as well; it’s my favorite expansion.

If you level it with 1-2-7 alts – and have a brutasaur, you can leave them there. Farm trillium and spirit. Set a way stone to the bank 1 minute away, to a quest, or the farm.

I see longboi there all the time.
