Being able to trade Tier token for Pvp NEEDS to be removed because you’re giving pvpers a way to take pve tier gear from other players just to use for pvp but, you aren’t giving pvers a way to get pve gear throught pvp. This is 1000% unfair and they need to remove it or (at the very least) give a way for pvers to get pve gear through pvp. This is nonsense and is create even more competition for new players or alts to get pve gear.
Players literally do YOLO ARENA 5s just to scrounge up Arena Points to buy weapons… for PVE.

Was gonna point that out, yeah. Some items on people’s PvE BiS lists for various phases are actually arena pieces, so you can get good gear for PvE, through PvP.

All of our tier gear would be rotting if it wasn’t for pvp gear.
In your guild pve gear would get prio so this is a non issue.
(No one cares about pugs, they are dead/dying because of no gdkp anyway)
wait you can buy pvp gear with tier tokens? when did that get added. my guild is literally turning the tokens into void crystals because no one needs them. we have been mostly geared and ready for p3 within like 5 lockouts
At the start of phase 3 you can use tier 5 tokens for season 2 gear.
oh thats pretty pointless but fine I guess considering you can just yolo arena for enough points at the end of the season to buy everything anyways
The thing with this is you’re not taking gear out of the hands of PvP players with this sytem. The other system system (turning tier into pvp gear) is taking items out of the PvE sets. This is totally lopsided and if you wanted a better balance you would make Badges of Justice a currency to buy main pvp slots and not actual tier tokens.

There is a crafted that comes later (forget the raid series that drop recipe drops in). If…you can afford it. The way anniv makes 2019 economy seem like a charity, I can’t wait to see the prices on the anniv ones if we reach wrath.
Now to op….part of your dream may come if what they did for 2019 series happens again. We got brutal set access honor only as a present in wrath precode. PVP to get pvp gear really good for pve.
Brutal weapon is basically carrying you well till RNG hell games in 68+ dungeon. The armor was nice gemmed and enchanted as well.
If a person goes to a raid, helps kill the boss, and they have SR’d or group rolled a piece of gear and won that piece - who in the actual F are you to dictate to that person if they should or should not use that to get a pvp set item? They are as entitled to the loot as anyone else who participated in the raid.

Some retail can be like this. They “loved” us in SL when the devs put some pvp legendary crap in raid.
It not like some of us lived to be there. I know I’d have loved that drop week 1, not week 4. RNG made that call, not me. While there if PL RNG liked me….I’d take the drop. I took my 1/25 shot just like everyone else did.
Not all retail though, some were/are cool. Some liked pvp dps actually knows what CC is, how to use it, and we have it on the bar. OMG a hunter saw an enrage, and tranq’d it? Hell froze over y’all lol.
I think it’s been in the game since the beginning of P1, because I got them from the same vendor I got my T4 legs from. At the same time, I might add. I was the only person with an SR on the Hero legs in a Gruul pug, and two tokens dropped, so I was given both.
I tried to give one away but nobody wanted it, so I bought the T4 legs and Glad legs.
If you win the /roll you can do whatever you like with the piece of gear/token…
