I think Shaman is one of the ones where itâs arguable (I quite like it) sure.
Itâs just that T2 is only unambiguously THE BEST for Paladins. Everyone else?
Like I like druid T2, but itâs not as good as druid D1.

Got the DK set yesterday (havenât put it on this character⌠not yet, at least), was quite the toss-up between that one and the Monk one. Mostly came down to me playing DK more than Monk, but thatâs definitely the next one on the priority list.
Strangely enough, Warrior (my main, and the first actual T2 set remaster) will probably be third.
Lacking TWW, itâs annoying trying to get these sets on the pittance that the Tanaris quests provide. Still think they should have all cost 20 tokens from the get-go and the extra tokens were dropping right away; adding the grind to 100 tokens for the event to feel right was ENTIRELY unnecessary.
⌠but I wouldnât be surprised if they figured adding more token rewards was easier to do than removing whatever code was attached to the achievements for those first 100 tokens.
Wouldnât have it made more sense to attach an EXTRA COSMETIC to that 100 token grind instead? That way itâd feel like a fun extra, not a necessary chore before the event became fun?
I think the 20 coin cost would have been too cheap to run off the bat, but itâs pretty wild that the amount of effort I put into getting the first set (using week 1 currency gains) was comparable to the effort I put into getting the next six (using week 2 currency gains).
Either way though, Iâm halfway through getting the tier sets.
Letâs see, Iâve now bought Warrior, Paladin, DK, and Monk sets with really only the Druid set left that I think looks great to get. All the other sets are just picking them up before the event goes away. So plenty of time to get every set and w/e I want from the event.
The monk set, for Blizzard team to just make up like they did, looks so darn good. Not as happy as I thought I would be with it on my Female Pandarin, seems to look way better on the male human model to me, sadly.
I just got enough Bronze yesterday to get my first set, but havenât decided which to get first. Leaning towards Shaman.
To be honest, youâre probably correct⌠with one slight caveat.
The 20 token cost makes more sense BEFORE they massively buffed the amount of tokens gained (even if itâs mostly from content I donât have access to). They wouldnât have needed to buff those rewards if the price for the first wasnât exorbitant to begin with, not to mention if all the sources were available from the start.

You must just suck really bad at the game if you think farming these brain dead easy tokens is associated with elitism. Go complain somewhere else.
