I didn’t play last week. I killed one boss in LFR and received ONE spark. My Tidal spark dust counter immediately went up to 3/4. I thought it was a visual bug, did one weekly quest to receive another spark and it went up to 4/4 with only 2 sparks in my inventory!!! I tried completing another weekly quest that would give a spark but it doesnt because im not elegible! Im now 2 sparks behind everyone!! we need a fix please
I am having the same issue it says my dust residue or whatever its called is 4/4 yet I have only obtained 2 actual Sparks. Might help to make an In-game ticket as well. Hopefully it gets resolved before too Long.

it seems that the people that didnt play last week are just gonna be behind by 2 sparks

I have the same problem. Did not play any of my characters last week and now they are all 2/4 despite having zero sparks.

Everyone submit a bug report and put a ticket into Blizzard. This needs to get fixed.

Yeah it seems to have been happening to all players that didnt play last week!!

The bug is 100% related to not having played last week, meaning that we are stuck at 2/4 sparks with character panel showing 4/4, making us unable to acquire the additional two. My alt who similarly completed no content last week is at 0/4 but 2/4 on the panel.
I detailed this in my ticket as well as my hypothesis to what happened with not completing the quests last week and was met with an AI response that did not even remotely acknowledge what I was asking for support with. Exceptional service!

I am also bugged. Showing tidal spark dust 4/4 when I only have 2/4 in my bag. Unable to craft weapon this week send help!
Also happened to me. 2/4 sparks but 4/4 in currency tab.
Last week I did my m0 tour but (iirc) forgot to turn in the weekly quest. i also didn’t do the Sparks of War quest last week, but did this week.

Mine shows 4/4 and I have 4 , works good, just wanted to add something to the matter
encountering this same issue on every character i play. they are either 4/4 tidal spark dust and have only ever received 2 sparks, or are 3/4 tidal spark dust and have only received 1 spark. I too did not play/acquire any sparks the prior week.
same happened to me
because you got 2 or 3 last week. this bug is only happening to people that got no sparks last reset
I am also showing 4/4 sparks, but only physically ever had 2. Didn’t get any sparks the first week.

not true i got 1 last week , one today from the pvp quest on the new island and it’s showing im 4/4
