I’m in the same boat you are. I don’t have use for Hearthstone, Starcraft or Overwatch. Too bad they didn’t make a separate pack for each game and somehow emphasize the 30 years and sell them for 30$. I want that mount too but it’s kind of pricey.
I’m with you on this. 30 years is a big mile stone. They could even give us a pet or something that affect all games. Hell. I’ll take a thank you mail though I feel that would be very cheap.
We are getting a ground mount in s few month that we all voted but even so. That should came now then later.
Point is you wanted 1 free item, they gave you more, and that still wasn’t good enough for you. Every Blizzcon is a time of celebrating another year of Blizz games, just because they slap ‘Celebration’ and ‘30 Years’ doesn’t suddenly change their goodie-bag.
i said that it is overpriced. I play only wow…so why i need other stuff in that pack? I need only mount. And it’s not “celebration” when you charge money from people to “celebrate” an event.
It’s a celebration of their 30 years. You can celebrate without paying a dime. You don’t need any of those items to celebrate with them. You might want them, but that’s entirely different.
It’s a Blizzard anniversary, not a World of Warcraft anniversary. We get free things for WoW anniversaries. This is clearly different as there are always exclusive prizes (including pets and mounts) for paying for a Blizzcon ticket, which is what the bear essentially is. Stop overreacting.
The word celebrate and money are not mutually exclusive, and there are plenty of events that have been brought up to dispute your line of thinking.
21st birthday, where guests are required to pay a cover charge
Wedding reception with a cash bar
Blizzcon every year that they have it, would normally cost attendees money to get in (plus a free swag bag that Virtual Ticket holders get digital items as well)
