Thoughts on the Y'Shaarj+Nzoth searless build

Any thoughts on how better/harder to play it is? :dracthyr_love_animated: :dracthyr_yay_animated:

Honestly, for most people it’s probably not better. It has some merit, namely Single / Priority Target and up front AoE burst damage but it’s less sustained mass AoE and worse / less flexible when it comes to handling general mistakes with trash in Mythic+ dungeons. It’s heavily reliant on your DoTs lasting long enough on their own for the pull to end, as it doesn’t have access to extension via mental decay.

As for difficulty, it’s definitely harder in bigger pulls or when mobs start living longer than your DoTs last, but I’d say when everything is rolling and going smooth it’s not that difficult to play. The reason it’s generally not recommended is how bad it is once your group veers off the script for pulls / timings in the key.

Thank you for your thoughts on it, always nice to read your analysis on things :dracthyr_love_animated:

it’s not bad on tyran weeks. the trash packs normally die before needing to reapply dots, and the build has better ST dmg then the other builds. it is definitely less chill to play, but is fun if you like the playstyle. (dont play it in NO or AA).

I’ve been trying it tonight on heavy single target fights. The damage is surprisingly good. Not too hard to play, just with 30s VT cooldown, you can’t let it sit off cooldown for very long at all, so always dump insanity just before it gets off.
