If pugs weren’t stupid, I’d not mind it.

Bringing only two CCs in a pug would be incredibly stupid, because then if either of them turn out to be the “I refuse to do mechanics” player you’re screwed.
You want as much redundancy as possible, to increase the chances that somebody does it.
You’re an awfully big talker, and yes your 17s are wholly irrelevant when people are already pushing 23s to 25s. This week so far, you have only cleared 11-13s, which are scrub level and messing up affixes only tickles your nose - it literally means nothing. You have nothing but green parses on your heroic raid clears so far, so good job getting carried by actual competent players through content, I guess. You’re not anything special, especially when you’re just having your hand held all the time.
Now, let’s move onto the topic at hand. This affix is an absolute mess. Warriors and Death Knights literally have no answers to this. If you interrupt the spirit, it IMMEDIATELY restarts its cast (it is not affected by the spell school lockout). If you stun it, it just restarts its cast right after. Intimidating shout also doesn’t work - the AoE fear portion does not work on them. You can target one of them and fear, but it won’t hit the other one. Meanwhile, a priest can shackle and forget; a mage can poly and forget; a pally can repentance and forget. Those long CC moves are 99% never used so they literally lose out on nothing when they can use. It’s absolutely asinine design that there exists such class imbalances for dealing with this affix. And even then, if you play a class that has an easy answer to this, is it an actually fun and engaging affix? No, it’s trivial and just a chore to deal with. If this is the best that the developers are bringing out, then hoo boy are we quickly headed straight back into the Shadowlands age of Warcraft.
Cmon now, are you really expecting DPS players to have to use their brains for 3 seconds?
No. You can still break cc with damage.

Super easy affix to deal with, don’t understand the crying.
Incorporeal is the easiest affix ever.
Intimidating Shout, Shockwave, and Storm Bolt.
Strangulate and Asphyxiate.
Its a bad affix that should have never left a drawing board.

Read further down, the articles I read didn’t mention it was 0-2, but i admitted i was wrong.
It’s def 0-2 every 45 seconds, sometimes going minutes with no spawn.

I’m going to do m+ for the first time today this week
Tried 3 keys this morning before going to the gym. 16-17 range. Group fell apart every time. No one wants to spec into their hard CC
So it leaves it up to me…not good to have your tank spending 1.5 seconds casting while getting beat on by 5-8-10 mobs (cant dodge/block/parry while casting). Never died from it, but ive had higher priorities than hard CCing mobs that a dps can take care of, and when they get hit by an AoE and have half the heals coming in…sigh

Correct. Get your CC off and go back to AoE storms
They’ll eventually get it or they’ll just start getting kicked by the leader, moving a couple of points to target an affix isn’t unheard of.

Had 2 paladins in the group, one being the leader. I explained the affix before we started. Neither of them changed anything around. Just used their stuns…and left the regular mobs that needed stunning running rampant. May be a good week to take off lol

I wouldn’t take the week off, i’d just be more choosey honestly.
Yea, time to start inspecting everyones talents before key goes live (personally saving my key for a day or two down the road when people have more experience)
Most of the time peoples standard builds run right next to CC so they’re not losing much, they’re just being pedantic whiners honestly lol
