It’s… there. It is an affix that exists.
Sounds easy in theory, in practice was not. At least not when I tried an instance earlier. The dps seem to be largely igoring the adds, even mistaking the debuff they put out for lag so I talented into both CC’s for future instances. It’s also not easy to heal, dodge things and look for the add at the same time. The only good news is it seems like once applied to these adds, the CC doesn’t break from damage.
I just don’t see why every affix seems to be my problem as a healer when everyone else can just keep on zugging. It’s getting to be frustrating.
Since they’re immune to aoe damage i think they should just despawn entirely after hit by a hard cc. Would clear up visual clutter on weeks like this where we also have extra mobs from spiteful or tornadoes/volcanos ect.
Is there any consistency in either 1 or 2 of them spawning?
I ran a couple 11-13 for wyrms and a 17 today and was almost always 2.
seems like more mobs in pack = always 2.
Easy affix. Use CC if you have it or let someone else who does do it.
Left 2 keys so far where nobody helped CC during bosses, we got to 4 stacks(so I couldn’t heal at all) and we wiped. Not a fan
LOL i love that your in both the channels legit telling people to ignore a mechanic if they cant deal with it, cuz you know, having a mechanic half your group isnt allowed to do is perfectly fine
Yes, I’m on a crusade to spread the word that Incorporeal is in fact not hard to deal with.

I just don’t enjoy affixes which force me to switch to a new target, deal with it, and then switch back to the proper target in the pack (and hopefully in time, if they’re about to cast something big).
I didn’t like explosive for that reason, and I’m thinking I won’t enjoy Afflicted either.
Coming from a class that can solo the affix I do not doubt you. I would ask you play the classes that can’t (Dk/Warrior) and tell me your opinions then. Better yet, try pugging into a group as those classes.
Just because its trivial for your class, does not mean this is not a problem.
If you can’t CC the mobs, just enjoy the free ride.

by “free ride” you mean not getting invited and wiping over and over when you do?

be smart, 2 CC is all you need
bring a warr or DK for pumping DPS and we will make it quick.

This is a massive problem and it’s not the players fault. Of course you are only going to bring classes/players that give you the best chance at succeeding in the dungeon. It would be silly to not. So why bring dk and warrior if its literally a detriment to your m+ run.
They should have made it any sort of CC/stun would get rid of them. Heck I have cyclone and it lasts so little of a time I have to use 2 casts per add. It’s annoying as heck, but I am trying to back up DPS or when they accidentally CC the same 1
this is why it doesnt matter if I average 120-150k per dungeon, i dont have the kit for the affix so we are out of luck unless we get carried by others, and who wants to invite someone they have to carry
