Nothing in game suggests you will be awarded these items. You have to pug or find a group to 2400 (2300 now), and then pug or find a group for 50 wins above. Is it not an extremely, kind of social, unspoken, in game thing? People got mad at me on the arena forum for the same kind of question. What are your thoughts? Am i looking at it wrong? Is it not kind of a weird, outdated thing?
You’re not really meant to pug at that level.

I don’t know. I guess be social and find a group. I’ve mostly been doing solo shuffle, but I think if I made an effort to meet people, and hop into voice chat, I’d probably improve.
Would I improve enough?

I assume the question is about the fact that the achievement that gives you the reward is hidden? If so: Yeah, I dislike that feats of strength you haven’t earned are invisible to a degree. It’s definitely weird that the game doesn’t inform you internally of that, or the M+ mounts, or the AotC mount at the end of each expansion, but the UI has always been unreliable at conveying information.

Let me explain this in a way that your bird brain can understand… What is suggesting to new players a Gladiator mount exists? Nothing? How long has nothing in game been suggested about the reward? Do you agree or disagree that it’s a bizarre, unlisted in game thing, for as big as it is?
It’s weird to have unlisted stuff but it’s kind of been the status quo for 20 years that if you’re serious about the game you’re using third party resources. Kind of the status quo in gaming as a whole that unless you really don’t care about anything in the game you’re going to be looking up information about it online.
They should probably be listed somewhere, but also the game is full of things you’ll never stumble across accidentally and content that’s effectively impossible to push without 3rd party addons. Is what it is.
I don’t actually think it’s that big. No one that’s got a shot at gladiator mounts in a season hasn’t heard of them, it’s not new player content.
New players wont ever start PvP because people like Haugs.. so It does not really matter if they know about it or not. It’s slowly moving towards its death and people like him are helping it along the way.

On the very, very long list of reasons why a new player wouldn’t start PvP, at the very bottom right next to each other are “The Gladiator mount achievement isn’t listed” and “Haugs was mean to me on the GD forums :(“
It being an old game and there being way better choices helps too.. But the consensus from most of the people on this forum discussing this very topic seems to lean towards the toxicity of PvPers.. But you can defend a clearly toxic person if you must.
I know we are kind of in a bubble in this thread but the two of you should do a search and some reading and see what the players…not me have said over in over in almost every pvp thread on here… Ill wait..
