Those that are requesting moves

You know… one negative of a move to a new realm would be the name you have might be already taken there (so you would lose your name).

I re-sub’d WoW 1 week before the classic stress test which allowed me to reserve 3 names. I’m sure some of you guys requesting moves probably have some pretty sweet names.

I actually made characters on 2 realms, when one is showing a queue - i try the other, if they are both queues, i’d probably make a new character on a low pop realm. If you think about it, waiting in queue for 1 hour+ to load your level 10 or under character is sort of silly, you can level to 10 easy in 1 hour on a low populated realm.

Just something to think about when demanding character moves. My guild is thinking of moving to a different realm since Grob is now super packed, granted I’m level 20 with 150 cooking and 150 fishing (just dinged to 20 before i went to bed). But if my guild decides to move, I’ll just keep my hunter here and re-roll another toon, knowing someday this server probably wont have queue times.

Most the people that are demanding transfers are going to complain if they did get the transfers and lose their name.

They’re just the type of people who will never be happy.

I was going to make an intelligent reply. Haha, no I wasn’t.

I think one of the new servers should be a streamer server. We could call it Lemmings.

I think you nailed it!

They would need to open the realms for transfer prior to allowing character creation. Problem solved. Instead of continually opening up new servers and slowly thinning the herd, they could just designate sister servers for each massively overpopulated realm. Open character transfer for 24 hours prior to allowing creation. This allows for entire guilds and groups to make the switch without any issues.
