Logged out last nigth, while in the disguise, because I was beat. Logged back in, apparently that removes the disguise? Because when I came back from getting a coffee, I was dead.
Now I’m doing all the quests (painfully) without a disguise. Is there a way to get this thing back?
(This is the quest line where you go around as one of these stoneborn gargoyle things, and Mal’Ganis is in the cage)
Normally the original questgiver will have a dialogue option to re-apply a disguise, but I can’t remember who/where that was for that particular quest off the top of my head.
Yeah, neither can I. It was a pop-up on-screen button. I don’t know why they don’t just add that back in.
Furthermore, I don’t know why the disguise comes off if you log-out.
As a last resort you could try dropping the quest and picking it up again.
I think the folks escorting you can give you the disguise back.

The fury. A Wowhead comment was like “Just talk to Moonberry” and I’m thinking “we’ll she’s not with me so I’m effed.” I guess the disguise works…
