Yep kick the bombs and position so the eye doesn’t drain your sanity and get out of black swirlies and hide behind pillars while interrupting all of her sheep casts…and still have good uptime on Alleria herself as she decides on all of her slew of abilities if she ever wants to follow LOS rules and actually come around a pillar.
Meanwhile range can just camp on a pillar and sidestep to hide from her AOE and quickly reposition if the eye pops up.
Visions are definitely overall easier on melee vs casters but Alleria is the exception.
You are still the bad player for only just recently getting the achivement after the content is months old AND trying to act like a big shot after the fact (and nobody is buying your faux “anyone can do it” spheel).
Learn to be humble.

Put eye behind pillar, continue, watch eye casting and where he moves, repeat
If you position the eye well you should have a clear shot of interrupting her sheep cast 
While chained and silenced put yourself at a pillar while blocking eyes casting
You’re supposed to keep an eye of swirlies which is easy to do, bombs should be knocked away from you, where’s your issue with her doing ranged attacks again…?
