This week's affix combo great!

I kinda hope you guys are trolling, but in case you’re not…

Even if you handle Quaking perfectly, it’s 20% party health that needs to be healed every time it goes off. It’s tough on trash, it’s tough on bosses, it’s one of the hardest affixes period. It gets far more dangerous on high keys because healer stress increases significantly with key level and Quaking can push even the best healer over the line from manageable damage into “Well, we’re screwed” territory.

Sanguine is usually okay on most dungeons, but the horrible Void placement can make the usual kite paths a bit of a pain. Still, Quaking is the real danger here.

Agreed, a major problem point was the trash in and around the pig boss room, since there’s not much space there. The first door to open for my group was the ground floor pig boss side door, which just made things worse.

Eventually you hit a wall. Is Fortified really that difficult? release and run back rapidly, I just did Underrot +11 and it was an easy + 1 . whats so hard about being dead and then running back.
Okay so your argument is that on +18 or +20 it becomes a massive over-kill. that’s intended. Youre not geared enough to do +21 . rocket science ?

I found UR to be very push-able . I don’t even do dungeons very often but +11 was easy and we + 1 'd it with time to spare. a very competent group could easy push over 17 or 18 on UR this week.

Doing 9s: Things are pretty easy this week.

Doing 15s: Things are pretty hard this week.

So what we’ve learned here is that things that are by their very nature easy, are easy. And things that were doable have become a serious challenge.

Also, water is wet.

Imagine doing a 10 key and thinking any of the affixes are relevant.

Yeah I kind of agree with this, I think void is pretty manageable in most situations but it depends what the other affixes are, imagine the hard voids this week but instead of quaking it’s volcanic? It would make the “hard” voids WAY easier. Sanguine sucks as well for melee mostly because dropping sanguine on void is a bad time because melee can’t do dps at that point lol.

But thank you for clearing up the weeks of the emissaries!

There are some absolutely disgusting pulls this week. The honor guard pulls in Atal come to mind that have voids mixed in with them so you cant even skip.

Your argument is that you did a +9

I cant wrap my mind around the level of bad at everything you are.

I tried playing Disc in a +10 TD and that was a no go. I had no ramp up time just spammed Shadowmeld & cried myself to sleep.

Tanked another TD 10 last night on a different toon hosting my own key with a rogue + 2 ranged combo

Timed it with 2-3 minutes to spare with no full wipes, and positioning the horrible sanguine (which has the same color as the dark red/brown floors) all while trying not to gib someone with quaking, and having a far off void inevitably aggro because EVERYTHING in there runs at low health

From start to finish it was legitimately a zero fun experience, like if someone told me to go wash a stack of filthy dishes for an hour straight, but hey i’m sure the typical DPS that were in my group (even after checking for sufficient experience) slamming buttons oblivious to everything were having a great time

Tanking shrine this week was relatively tolerable except for several spots but TD 10 or higher is legitimate agony and torture as soon as you beat the first boss, on the same level of pain as trying to heal grievous tyrannical first boss of KR

I’ll just go pug tank something else next time, there is challenging and then there is stupid, and TD this week is firmly in the latter category

Yeah so what I’m trying to say is, this week is a zero fun experience. And I’m a healer who thinks bursting is fun along with being able to push on weeks that have bolstering or grievous or other “hard” weeks although I don’t always love it. This affix combo combined with void emissaries is a poo experience, high stress, low reward. I’m glad I have other games to play.

I think this might be the worst week this season yet. Kings Rest, Atal and Shrine all have some particularly god awful void placements. of the keys I have tried this week, only Underrot seemed ok. WM is doable if you have a good tank.

Also - swapped to Holy this week over Disc (like I do for Griev + Bursting) the damage is out of control and playing Disc made me want to throw things.

Funny enough, Shrine is on the easier side this week imo. The pack before the last boss you can ignore it by just hugging the right wall.

My experience this week is that it is the number and placement of void emissaries that are making it hard to finish on time.

UR is the second highest success rate dungeon so far this week. There are only two dungeons with over a 50% success rate. Even Freehold is under 50% and Freehold is usually a gimme in my experience.

If you have done Freehold then you know the main issue is the void emissary placement.

I’m thinking you might have different opinions if you did a TD with it’s 23% success rate.

Yup, I make it a point to avoid TD and WM during Sanguine weeks.

Ran one 18 this week and my friends and I called it. Nope, big nope. See you all next week.

Also the guy talking down to everyone while running 9’s; what a joke. Either you’re trolling or insanely oblivious. This is by far the hardest week we’ve run into so far, period. Last week was LOADS easier than this.

Our group does keys sat-mon, and after reading all these comments I’m looking forward to our runs.

We run double ranged, so as long as the DH doesn’t stand on me like a doofus Quaking isn’t a huge problem for us. The healer and I are gonna try double Mechagon trinket to knock 400k hp off every void before I start mass pulling. It’ll be fun!

These affixes are super easy on paladin and warrior tank, druids and monks get squished especially when butt pull happens.
