Blizz writers hide lots of neat egss like this. They don’t get enough credit in forums.

More or less, yes lol.
I felt like a kid in detention, even though it was just a warning.
I promptly hearthed out once they started messaging me. (Got my screenshots, though.)
The GM basically told me that I was “out-of-bounds” from the playable area, and told me that because it was just harmless exploration, and because I left right away, they were gonna let it slide.
Very much felt I was being watched after that, lol. 
Didn’t want to risk losing my account or anything like that.
Not long after, they ‘fixed’ wall-jumping up steep ledges, and thus it was almost impossible to get to Hyjal again, unless you got really creative with it.
Apparently it’s not a big deal anymore- tons of players in the Classic re-release were fooling around Hyjal and summoning others there. I guess it’s seen as harmless these days.

Lol I hear that. I was like that this one time. I kinda had a full blown melt down once on the forums. It was bad. I get loud and suicidal when I’m like that ( safe now just so folks don’t worry ).
Well the next thing I remember clearly ( blacked out some bits and some stuff I don’t wanna talk about here ) was getting a email from blizz support about hotlines in my area to talk to. Someone reported me but it was the “I am concerned about this person” kinda report not a punishing one.
Anyway. The next time I popped into WoW I soon had that GM window pop up. I got spooked thinking I did something wrong. Nah. That GM just wanted to check up on me and make sure I was okay.
Wherever that person is I hope they’re doing okay too. That was a good person right there.
