Had a hard bit of nostalgia thinking about all the people I met on ED and came back to find this place pretty dead. Feels bad man.
I switched to Emerald Dream a long time ago for two reasons: Before sharding, it always seemed to have the most active world PvP scene, and the faction balance seemed relatively close.
I met so many cool and interesting people on Emerald Dream and I really thought it would be my forever server. It sounds like you had a similar experience to me though, where you took a break, came back, and found the server to be pretty quiet. It made me a little sad personally. So many of those friends are now inactive for > 1 year in guild chat or Battle Net so I server hopped to Moon Guard.
MG definitely has a different vibe, but it’s nothing if not lively haha. Still, I feel a certain sadness and nostalgia when I think about my time on ED and that I’ll never be able to replicate the community that I felt was fostered there.
I feel the same. I moved top moonguard even though its west coast realm or whatever.
