ikr! i totally miss playing classic m+ dungeons. my blood elf paladin back in 2004 was so op.
Not entirely true! They’re at least more meaningful than your incorrect statements
Why do you feel the need to lie on the forums using a classic character?
Why do you feel the need to keep informing us your statements have any meaning? You’re just as insignificant to blizzard as the rest of us.
Okie doki, deflection it is
The only thing I really rushed on my own this expansion was the zone storyline questing you had to do to get to valdrakken. I just really couldn’t be bothered to rp walk with centaurs and all of my alts skipped that stuff entirely.
Emerald dream I will not rush though, because I have been curious about the place pretty much since my very first druid back in wrath or maybe even TBC.
The hard 15 minutes lock on dungeons needs reduced though, I have completed without skipping anything and still had to wait 6 minutes to requeue. I get it no more skips but now the same group can’t requeue because of the timer? Odd.
It’s honestly kind of funny seeing people rush through the content at max speeds and then complain about content drought. No matter what game it is. I take my time with expansions. I don’t immediately jump into content when it’s first released. I give it time. I might level to the max level because with BFA and Legion content, the scaling is bad so you have to be max level and have a decent enough ilvl just to do some things.
But like I’m nowhere near the Emerald Dream stuff and likely won’t be for a while because I’m going to go through get the stuff I need for pathfinding, and then go back and work on renown for the beginning renown. Slowly and steadily.
I’m the same way with Final Fantasy XIV, I’m still in post Stormblood. Right now my focus is leveling the other classes to 50, since I have White Mage, Black Mage, Dragoon, Monk to 50. Bard and Paladin are 70. Once that’s done, I’ll level my crafting and gathering classes to 70. Then go back and level those classes to 70. When I’m done then I’ll complete post Stormblood. I probably will still be behind by the time that Dawntrail comes out. But I’ll have enough things to do by the time it comes out. Because I’ll do the same thing by Shadowbringers end. Level everything up to 80. Do post SHB. Then do Endwalker. Level everything up to 90. Do post Endwalker.
My post to WoW is no different. I even level characters in between expansions too. Though I level them to 60 unless I decide that I want to do end game content on them. I also alternate mains.
Been saying this exact thing to anyone who would listen since they implemented cross-server dungeon/raid finders.
The E-Sports mentality was hoisted onto this game by Bobby Kotick, and those who shared that mentality bullied the vast majority of RPG fans who just want to be a different character in another world for part of their day. This became more and more evident as the writing was obviously what was getting the least funding and the entire focus of WoW’s development became about World First Raiding, Arena Tournaments, and Mythic+ invitationals.
Some people forgot this is High Fantasy, not the NFL.
Nothing to do with M+. M+ is just another symptom. FFXIV doesn’t have M+, and it has the “gogogogo” mentality worse than WOW does.
Kek. Very true
Gorathos also tells the devs to slow down during maintenance and tells us to slow down because they don’t like how fast everything is. Look, everybody has different lives and expectations. We just all run on different times. So it’s good to try to keep up with the natural flow of things when you’re in a group, and it’s not always the same. Sometimes faster or slower… but there isn’t a reason to stop and read every single quest if you don’t want too, or spend 2 years getting a rep done if you can do it by doing all the quests every day in a months time. There’s also not a reason to get the group wiped because you want numbers so BIG that you can see them from Jupiter. When your alone you can do what you want. When playing a group it’s just about finding a medium.
Almost like your playing with other players.
in TW dungeons I get it. Theyre trying to get as much reward in as little time as possible.
For leveling dungeons that might have newer players, if theyre causing wipes, vote kick them every time.
Not a fan of the rush crowd either, but no one is required to play the game in the manner you want them too.
For me personally I don’t want to spend all day doing 1 task. As a grown adult now and not 13 anymore I have responsibilities so in order to do the content and see the game I need to rush. If you’re not a rusher that’s fine create a circle of friends that don’t want to rush
I do not know why, but this thread reminded me of that one video of Klay World with the pancake mines. Probably because the one guy trying to rush ended up getting blown up. Was funny actually.
OP, yes I agree. People’s attitude is a big factor in ruining the experience of this game.
Not really, people rushing is their personal choice, it dosent effect me one bit , if anything it makes the prices go up on AH cuz people wanna buy the latest stuff at high price instead of waiting
Absolutely true. If you’re not wall to wall pulling you’re not doing it right (according to most XIV players).
People tend to do chores as quickly as possible. I’m just guessing here, I do not support it or anything.
This statement makes sense as long as you ignore reality.
I tend to rush on my main, find it fun.
But I don’t come to the forums setting Blizzard on fire because there is “no content” left to do afterward.
