I was waiting for a few hours in queue, got really close to being able to login. Stepped away from my machine for a moment, got back and was disconnected… I relaunched the game and now am in a several hour queue.
I would switch servers but I can’t. There should have been more servers to pick from initially. I reserved my name along with all my guildies and real life friends on a server that we are now firmly committed to. It was a server that was part of the first batch of servers.
You really screwed this up Blizzard.

imagine if they just announced all the servers right now, AT THE BEGINNING. why did they wait til those were full to put out more servers? sounds like they had them waiting… i don’t get it. they should know by now people don’t want to leave if they got their whole guide and name reservations on the server

Same thing happened to me. I waited in queue for 2.5 hours, got to play for 30 minutes, then was disconnected from server. When you are disconnected the auto-login doesn’t work, I had forgotten my password, so I relog.
I got stuck in a login queue which was enough time to keep me from getting to skip the realm queue after a disconnect. So now I’m in a 10k queue and it looks like I’ll be waiting another 3 hours.
Classic isn’t a bad game, but Blizzard always seems to find a way to ruin their own products.

I had the same issue. I remoted to my PC from work so it would be ready when i got home, did this around 2pm. Nope. Disconnected at some point. Now i’m back in a 2 hour 20 min queue and probably won’t get on now til 7pm. Waited 6 1/2 hours yesterday from launch, finally got on close to 1am. My friend who lives probably 2 miles away got on within 5 mins…lol I could only play for about 30 mins though as i had to be up for work at 6am.
And I already switched servers once due to it being full. Now the one i moved to has become full.

same thing just happened to me, waited in queue, got in, got DCed immediately after waiting 4 hours for a queue. NOW IM BACK in a 16k+ queue this is ridiculous. Can’t change servers because all my friends are on this server.
SAME! Fix this issue Acti-Bliz - great game, very nice recreation of my favorite game of all time, but this QUE sh** is getting old and getting old fast. I for one, will cancel my sub, demand a refund for lack of being able to use what I payed for and forget this game for good this time. I got along just fine before I downloaded Classic WoW yesterday and I’ll get along just fine after I uninstall it. Your loss, not mine. I do want my money back if it comes to this, so be advised.
Just to add something different: I saved some names on various servers that weren’t already Full. When they launched the newest servers, I went to Old Blanchy and got the names I wanted right away. Right at launch, I logged in without any wait times or queues. I also played for 8 hours straight LoL it’s been many years since I played. So, for me, the experience was fantastic. I had a ‘lucky break’, my foot was busted so I was home from work anyway!
If they opened up free realm transfers right now I’d transfer my character to a less full realm. Nobody in my guild is getting to play together and I’ve already rerolled on a new server twice.
I just want to play the game but realms that were low pop are now high pop and I can’t keep rerolling new toons or sitting in 4+ hour long queues.

I just switched to a new server. screw it.
im sitting here at my work desk, making sure i move every couple minutes, i got teamviewer on my phone too, i got d/ced twice already, but i was ready to get back in
I did that last night, now my low pop server has a ridiculous queue too. I’m looking at rerolling a 3rd time with no guarantee i’ll be able to log in again.
yeah this new server now has a 3k que. sucks.
Have you and all of your buddies move to a lower population server. all of the time you guys will spend in que will make up for having to start fresh and you can play with ur friends.
Update: 8:35pm still not in. Been stuck on 1200+ for over an hour.
From what i’m reading there are no low population, they are all full.
Waited in my queue for 30 mins, screen asks me for my password. Enter my password, nothing. After several attempts I go to battle net to sign on to make sure I’m using the right password, yep right password. Just can’t enter it on game screen. Close out game restart, back in queue. …#sigh all I want to do is quest for a bit…
