Those levels weren’t adjusted as it’s already fast leveling them. It starts around level 30.
I just sit up in the air on my mount and wait for boss to pop.
No point in competing with multiple raid groups, it’s all going to grey out except gold dragons.
I did join a farming group it was no different than not being in one, competing with other groups.
I was curious about leaving this way nope, not going to happen either. Just went leveling the other way.
The graveyards are too far a run back, just level normally, it’s just too much of a headache to be leveling useing the events and you can’t buy any gear with primals until level 60.
Primals are account wide though, that’s how I geared my chosen alts.
Go with a max level (or level 50-60) friend. That’s what I did and I leveled a priest from 1-60 in a few hours.
Why would you go any spot but where the boss spawns?
The boss can spawn in more than one place. People only go to one place.
The boss always spawns in the 1 place, he won’t spawn anywhere but the spot named differently.
I was level 45 on my Monk alt busy on Chromie’s time dungeons when Prepatch came. But I already have Fast Flying which is available at level 40. Looking at Primal Invasion areas, it has 3 areas: Badlands, Un’goro and Northern Barrens. Just looking at these areas, which one carries the lowest level mobs… it’s on Northern Barrens… Badlands is like level 36-45, Ungoro is like level 50-55.
Anyway, I was enjoying Chromie’s time so I stayed in there for a while. After around 10 dungeon runs, I was already level 54. I had a blast on its dungeons particularly on BFA dungeons although it’s brutal for new players. At this level, I could handle regular mobs on Primal Invasions. I was just ilevel 150 and looking at the internet, vendor rewards for Primal invasions are ilevel 252 for level 60 characters. And it needs around 525 Primeval Essence to get everything on my slots.
So I started getting flight paths first on all 3 areas coming from the cities. Then I started joining thru Group Finder. I leveled from 54 to 60 thru these invasions. By level 60, I was at 525 Primevals. Got all my slots of ilevel 252. Then Uldaman became available to me… The quest gave me ilevel 278 and the loot gave me another 278.
I am now ilevel 256 skipping the whole Shadowlands up to Zereth Mortis. I havent played much since. But I would start Shadowlands by Monday to access Oribos and Tazavesh so I could start Mythic+. We will see.
I havent used my Collector’s Edition yet and I got already my bday present to buy the 12-month Subs promo but I havent bought it yet. I am busy in RL. On Monday, my dayoff, I would resume. I am excited. GG.
I never expected an event with 60s to be for leveling to begin with. Not sure why anyone thought otherwise. There are plenty of options in game for leveling.
Pre 50 or so, it kinda sucks hard.
And ya, mobs are a dime a dozen.
I didn’t bother with a group , just had an alt that was ranged and tagged elites that were pulled. Was a boring thing but faster so grit my teeth through it.
The scaling got weird though and the mobs ruined my alt.
Is there some kind of limit to quests? I just switched to an alt and the zone phases are not available for the invasion. The alt completed the prequests and did at least 1 daily already.
I have alts on Nesingwary, low pop serve, and Moon Guard, high pop serve.
Nesingwary had to find a group to run with. I didn’t even care what the boss type was I just wanted to level and finally got it done. Around 3 hours with group.
Moon Guard, there’s enough people/groups running around so didn’t have to join any groups. Around 4 hours solo because I could tag the elites but nearly all the nonelites would already be tagged.
Gotta form a group for tags. I went from 43 to 60 on a shaman last night in 2 hours
Took me a few minutes shy of 2 hours to get this toon to 60 from 48 (invasions only) … was 96% on 59 when invasion boss despawned due to timer, stuck around a little after 60 to collect a few more currency. Did not group up, just tagged all elites I could, got the occasional non-elite too.
It is very fast but very boring, but it got the job done.
It wouldn’t be so bad without the silly tagging system. Everything grays out almost instantly. There’s no reason to block out loot and xp for people participating in an open world event.
Fan of Knives EVERYTHING! You’ll get lucky.
… eh? They scaled for me. I ran several alts through there.
Oh… below 50. Yeah, don’t do those below 50. Once you hit 50, though… in about an hour or so you’ll be 60.
This. I just started the event today, and quickly found this to be the best approach for getting the transmog. Kill the boss, afk, youtube stuff, chat a bit, and then kill the boss again.
Actually, its pretty good for levelling
He did say he is on a level 30 duh! Also, if there is no group inviting him, then lvl 60’s will do nothing but dodge ALL attacks from a level 30 toon.
Are you a bad reader?
agree there should be matchmaking from level 10 forward
point is to entertain and get rid of unnecessary friction that is arbitrarily blocking that goal
I am just focusing on the one part here: Cata daggers, well lets also go with legion quest line. Why would you want to try and do ANY of these things with exp coming up very soon? There will be so much to do who wants to spend a week ish clearing old legion stuff and about 6-8 weeks chasing the daggers? Thats an end of exp i have nothing to do type of goal.
Anyway off topic but just wondering why the focus is going to the old when the new is coming and coming very soon.
