Are you actually “insulted” by someone saying that an mmo might not be the game for you if you dont want to spend time working on your character?
If you are I suggest you get off the internet and never go outside. Its a scary place for people who get insulted by something like that.

I’ve played a lot of WoW over the years and I know how much effort it takes to do this content. I’ve put a ton of time into grinding out all the achievement points that I have. So I know when Blizzard is now putting road block in front of road in front of road to finally get to the content that players want.

Just for the record I’m not against the assaults or visions just on how they’re being implemented into the game.

Sometimes burnout is caused by the type of content and not always just the player.

I’m taking my alts through the cloak quest, getting them to a lvl 5 cloak and that’s the end of the cloak stuff for them.
I mean at, what, 470+ ilvl it already FAR exceeds the rest of their gear so why push it.

ARMS warrior
HAVOK demon hunter (only at 4, got chain cc’d until dead by door guards first time through)

Next up, unholy dk, assasin rogue, one of my hunters, etc.

Essences? Some of them and their ranks are tied to lots of grinding.

If you choose to swap a character because you’re bored of your main or your guild requests you swap - well enjoy running old content that no one is running no more?

Blizzard keep doubling down because of the echo chamber in these forums, and the fact that they have not taken a big enough of a financial hit yet.

I only have control over one of those two issues, so I will not be paying for a sub any longer until its corrected.

If “staying relevant” on multiple toons is what makes wow fun, your reason to play, go for it. Even for one main I think Blizzard overindulged the content to stay relevant.

I see this as the end of the expansion. Remember WoD and we saw the cinematic with Archimonde die and we set Draenor free (to be enslaved later by the Light)? For me that was the end of the expansion.

Right now I’m leveling mechas and foxes, completing legion mounts for classes I didn’t get, old content for transmog. Haven’t stepped foot in cloak content but after hearing what “fun” it is from guildies and this forum I’m less inclined to do so.
