This New WoW Killer

Bad news: 100% of the players that play “Real life” will die, it’s a 1:1 correlation. While terminal apparently most players can get to at least level 65 before they cease playing. Unfortunately it’s also one and done… no respawn.

Feels bad, but true…

Truth be told you don’t need a culinary arts degree to be a good chef, although I have a culinary arts degree too XD. Best of luck in your ventures though, it’s a very tough and grueling world to get into!

That we know of.

There are people who think that when we die, we’re forced to respawn as a new character, but with literally everything reset.

It’s chat puts WoW’s Trade and Barrens to shame. Luckily like them it can be turned off.

The addition of these can make the game more fun:

RL is p2w af, and its pvp is murder.

If you think WoW players and forum are toxic… oh boy. RL players whine and cry twice as hard.

Main problem is tuning. Stats are all over the place and some players seem to have god mode enabled, while others get infinite grinds within grinds and never get any traction. It’s all RNG.

My own player character is bugged with all sorts of issues. I seem to be scaling down as I level up. You think ilvl scaling in WoW is bad…

There is also the alleged data-mined successor MMO, that you can only join after dying in “Real Life” called “Afterlife”. But there is no proof that does or does not exist.

I heard getting in to the closed beta in Afterlife is a killer…

Depends on who you ask. Some seem to indicate it’s very open… others claim you have to complete very specific actions in “Real Life” to be eligible. I don’t tend to worry about things I’m not eligible to participate in yet. I’ll focus on the current game.

Too many daily quests and the rewards suck.

High end raiding is for the 1%

Mounts break too often and it costs money to repair.

Too many restricted areas for flying mounts.

Most of the job tier sets look terrible.

Flight paths take way too long and sometimes there’s this annoying bug where you get bumped off the path before it even starts then you have to wait even longer to get back on.

I wonder if there will be a robot involved somehow.

Leveling up takes way too long in that game.

I mean, a whole year for a single level? What the hell!

It must be fun. No one I know has come back from it yet.

Although I have heard a few stories about this one guy that supposedly did come back. He got trolled and PK’ed pretty hard but his dad was like the main Dev so he hooked him up with some like GM powers or something. I heard they even based a book and a few movies on him.

I regret signing up for World of Real life.

Yeah, your avatar actually does tend to change by itself over time, but almost never the way you want it to.

The game isn’t alt-friendly, either.
