I criticize things that are dumb. It’s that simple. People’s absolutely deluded ideas of what ilevels and what not should be for content, prevents people from ever getting a chance to play the freaking game basically. Whether they can do the content or not- it doesn’t matter. It’s not even a figure that’s grounded in reality, the criteria these people come up with. 90% of the time it’s some egotistical jerk that’s telling me what talents I should be playing and he’s never played my class in his life, he just read some guide somewhere and now is using it as justification to decline me, or someone else, it doesn’t matter. Personally. I don’t care about it. But It’s just something that I’m sure others experience and it’s really, really dumb in the worst ways.
Automatic Matchmaking and LFG (in WoW) does not work for difficult content. That’s why LFR exists, yet does not exist for Normal or Heroic modes. Also for Rated BGs.
To be a bit more nuanced; group coordination is the issue. Matchmaking is designed for success (LFR). And any coordination requirements in random groups… well… lol.
I agree that some people put ridiculous requirements when posting a group. However those people are not keeping anyone from playing or experiencing the game since both have the ability to form their own group. Again saying the system is flawed but never forming a group kind of kills the debate right there.
The option to move up to more challenging content is there. Most players would be capable of knocking out a few bosses in Normal mode raids given they put forward the effort. LFR and matchmaking in general is very appealing for the ease of access. Queue up. And do whatever you do while you wait for the pop-up.
With regards to “Mythic Warfronts” (maybe you implying something like this?), there is the issue of player interest. I don’t think Warfronts generated much interest. Having the pinnacle of PVE and PVP along 1 piece of content (raids, arenas) allows players to focus on that content; but it also allows the game to be driven to be more fair and balanced. Too many top-tier endgame routes doesn’t really work. It’s a bit bloated at the top, basically.
If you’re looking for a high quality guild I’d stay out of trade chat anyway. If you want a quality guild you should put forth the effort and do your own research and reach out to them. A good guild sells itself by word of mouth and others own research, they don’t have to spam /2.
Eh,I’m personally content with mine I was merely stating that there are many that are hit and miss and many who perceive guilds as obsolete. Hells, save for Guild and Party,I haven’t had any of the chats [not even general] on in ages. Too much spam by stupid edgy teenagers cluttering up any chat they can these days with un-ironic racism and dead memes that were never funny for my tastes. Now if you excuse me,I’m going to yell at clouds and tell young punks to get off my lawn…
People that make comments like that had no intention on being a productive member of a group anyway, else they would know comments like that are very untrue.
Cyouskin needs to be fired for his position. That’s not adapting to the customers needs as a manager, that’s catering ONLY to the business. A business who once depended on being casual to succeed.
Claudis shouldn’t be well liked for his position, vaulty tried the same exact rhetoric and was downvoted to oblivion.
Tewa is still a liar.
Katriyona shouldn’t have intervened and ignited everyone to call the OP a troll.
Elitism has no place in WoW. It never has (Classic-Legion), and it never will (BFA/9.0+), yet here it is.
I feel like this is a “Wall of No Queues”. And those in favor of that are truly the ones trolling.
