just unsub- when it asks you why, put "ion and lore laugh at fixing pvp. pvp sucks. " they get enough of these responses, their finance team wont be happy. And their finance team is like 70% of their team rn so it’ll at least be a faint whisper on their radar

I’m not sure what the exact context is but they seem to be referencing something that they can’t really fix. Paraphrase manuscript because I cbf watching it over and over to get it right

they gave up on arena this is a pve game they even admitted arena was a mistake. also adds a ton of toxicity to the entire community probably around 80% of the game’s toxicity in comparison to all other aspects of the game so why not kill off that massive portion.

edit: it’s either this or they truly are some of the dumbest people on the planet i mean most of them are from california what can you say. i have a theory that almost every game dev on the planet is autistic and trash at game design

So I went to the vod and found what they were talking about right before the clip to get better context of what they were saying, pretty much they’re talking about good vs bad feedback (question was about guilds and communities). At the end they Ion just comes out of nowhere and says “or you can just tell us to fix pvp” and Lore continues the joke.

i get how “fix pvp” is an unbelievably vague statement but i don’t think “remove maledict” is

each player in the community shouldn’t have to write 7 paragraphs on why the trinket is unfun and isn’t good for arena from a competitive standpoint

I’ve seen paragraphs and paragraphs of well thought out complaints/ideas/solutions to arena on the forums, they get a million upvotes and still no reply from blues etc

How are people meant to send them the info??

Oh yeah it’s incredibly frustrating, just reminds us of what we’ve known for a long time: the devs unfortunately don’t play their own game enough, if at all, to understand arenas.

Not to mention the amount of multi rank ones that bliz could reach out to about the state of the game if they cared to, let alone changes to class design or even how to get back to a meta where every spec is competitive and people can play their mains.
