My oldest character is “Kylathia”, an NE Priest, who was started in the AM the first morning the servers were up on the first day.
Other people preordered, who still did not have the game yet, but I just went to the Walmart in Omaha, Nebraska, and formed a line with two other nerds at 12:01 AM. Finally, some person came over and asked why we were there and went in the back and found the boxes.
I did not even have to install the CD since the beta was patched up more than the CD; so I got on and just had a very small patch before making my character.
She was originally on Blackhand, if I remember correctly, then took the free transfer to Baelgun.
She doesn’t appear as being on Blackhand on old character search logs, which is odd since the Hunter I started when she got to level 60 does.
This character started in Wrath, as a joke, then became my main starting wth BFA.

Yep, this is me. Started at about 12:40 AM Central the first “morning” the servers were up. Sporting the “Sergeant” title since it was retired.

Well, my very first is not in this account, a 23 gnome rogue… which I abandoned because I didn’t like Vanilla.
Characters I still have? My troll hunter, “nonoohno” from Tortheldrin… to Mag’theridan… it was 85 last time i saw it, so yea… don’t play it anymore.
Always Quen. She has had a name change in the past, but same elf.
My oldest still existing character would be this one… my oldest ever though was a Night Elf Hunter I made back in classic…

I believe my first character was a NE Hunter (like 99% of the playerbase) but I’ve had at least a dozen accounts over the years 
and I have no idea what the account name was or how to find it.
This one. Created her August 2006.
My Gnome Mage was before her, but was long ago deleted.

Once I found out people could attack me in the world because I played on a pvp server

My oldest is Patinkin
I’m not 100% sure when I made her, but I think it was around Christmas of 2017. She still has a special place in my heart, and I carry on her legacy as a fury warrior 
I can’t make up my mind about leveling her up. Sometimes I’ll log on with her for a minute, but I haven’t done any quests with her since some time in 2018. I feel like she’s almost like a time capsule for that time for me, and I feel like leveling her up and bringing her into new expansions would ruin that. I have a lot of memories associated with this version of her - even though she wasn’t super high level, and her level looks even more tiny post level squish.
But who knows, maybe some day I’ll level with her once again

This is my oldest character, originally a male Dwarf, according to Warcraft realms, first seen June 20, 2008. I still have this old black panther, fattypudds from STV as a pet.
That’d be my boy here. Created on my first day, some time in April 2005. He was my main only through vanilla and BC. But he has always been on the frontlines.

This guy is my oldest character. He’s a vanilla baby, though I didn’t start at launch.
My second oldest would be my Shaman for TBC, who was originally a Draenei, and now is a Troll. I kind of regret that change…
My third oldest would be a DeathKnight from Wrath, who was origanally a Human, and is now a Tauren… also have a lot of regrets about that change…
But ,those are the oldest that I can remember, and I still play all of them.
This is my second account. Main one is from diff region. Quit there long time ago. First toon on this account though was late Vanila, early TBC time and was a Tauren warrior just as that was the first toon on my main account. 2nd toon on this account, warlock, then Death Knight, then this toon, then shaman, then rogue then hunter, then a mage, then druid. I suck so bad at druid that I deleted that toon soon as it hit 85 in Cata. Just to list my fav toons that are still active.
This guy, made him December 2004. Deleted him sometime before TBC. Blizz restored him for me during the Wrath beta. That was pretty cool, since I emailed Paul Sams directly (guessed his email address) and he got someone to help me.
He’s been a belf, and a Draenei for periods and moved to a couple different servers. Now back to being his original human form.
I also started day 1 and sport the same title. My guild transferred off of PVP realm (Azgalor) about 10 years ago and “Nor” became “Normercy” due to “that name is unavailable”.
