This is the worst launch in the history of launches

I mean not to get picky but he is in the cutscene for the quest line outside Grim Batol, and you can see him flying sometimes but overall he was a pretty lackluster villan.

Teams too small and focused on SoD, it wouldn’t be ready for a LONG time

Just means it would be like the original then. I mean they gotta fix it either way, I’d rather have it without the bugs personally. It’s not like anyone is doing anything new anyways.

so you’d rather have it without the bugs… like 6 months from now? lol

Sure. Its Cata, I’m not exactly looking forward to it anyways. I’m basically sticking around for the guild and MoP.

Which is a further delay in mop, that will likely be delayed because SoD2

I’d prefer to just have the content, is there a lot of bugs? yes, is it unacceptable? yes, am i still having fun? yes

I mean I’m not sure what is fun about it, outside of leveling there is exactly the same things to do as last week. So if you were having fun last week I’m not surprised you are having fun this week?

Classes changed a lot, and i’ve been waiting for cata to level a few more characters

We have had delayed class balancing, bug fixes, raid adjustments, and we didn’t have a new PvP event in an entire phase of Season of Discovery because the classic team was ā€œbusy working on Cataā€

Then Cata comes out and it’s clear no one is working on anything.

Well then yeah it may be fun for you ( if you like the new world zones ), but I have everything leveled and the class changes are a big whoop, been down this road for the last 20 years so its pretty ho hum in that regard.

Then /shrug, idk what to say. Faster we get through this, faster we get to mop as well

I’m not really worried about the speed but I do care about the game actually functioning properly.

That is a reasonable comment. I can agree with that. What I will not stand for however, and I’m not pointing at you, is blaming the devs for this. The devs are not incompetent as I have seemed claimed. Devs do not dictate the release timetable. Devs code. Devs only have so many hours in the day to do their work. If people want to blame someone, blame middle/upper management who forces the release of an incomplete product.

When people are complaining that is who they are complaining about generally. Dev is just a general term for Blizzard employee of any kind.

Two words. Worgens and flying.

No offense but thats just a different skin, its just leveling, which is something you could do last week heh.

more fun this week tbh.

better class design

I played WoD just fine. I didn’t need to make macros to use spells to complete a level 2 quest because the spell didn’t appear in my spell book.

I saw deathwing earlier. I got the achievement.

lol for real, i remember being stuck during the WoD launch because blizzard had the bright idea of making us all spawn into the spot of our garrison without being phased so every single horde player was sitting in one super small area waiting for a button to respawn letting us click it. and of course there were the trolls sitting on their mammoths and yaks blocking it all, this was all before the Interact Key as well so you actually had to click on it.

and then there was original TBC, Wrath and Cata launches where the game was unavailable the whole day, and would have daily maintenance for the whole week for 8 hours a day, and if you were able to actually play then there was constant lag and the threat of being DCd and kicked into the queue again.

pretty sure MoP - BFA launches were all DDOSed as well
