So let me ask you this: do you play all the classes or is this just FOMO talking?
Because if it’s the latter then you don’t actually need all the sets.

If it’s either you don’t need them.
They’re not a need thing.
True as this may be, if they’re playing all classes I can see how they might very well want all of the T2s.
That having been said I feel like a lot of the people arguing in favor of getting all of them haven’t actually looked at any of them; a bunch of them are frankly hideous.
I just dropped off a solid 2 in the restroom and it was more satisfying.
Honestly if you look at the content its amazing…but I get being soured on the time gated grind.
it forces a variety of content that not everyone can (or wants to) do. Doesn’t allow people to use alts to earn coins doing things they like or can handle due to time constrains and/or physical/emotional causes.
I have extreme arthritis as a result of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I also have POTs. Doing RAIDS or any group content that requires me to PUG, just sets me up for crippling pain, exhaustion, and grief from toxic players.
Learned the hard way that giving a heads up that I’m trying, but have disabilities, sets me up for MORE abuse and group kicks - this even when runs go smoothly, and my DPS is adequate, if not stellar.
Why couldn’t we just use our Timewarped Badges? I have a crap ton of those. Nope, have this new currency that is very limited in how you get it, with no mention that I can find of any catchup mechanics.
The current design is so bad as it takes away player options and agency.
I don’t care if they want players to put in some number of ‘effort hours’ to get a set or item from the bronze vendor.
What I do care about is them setting it up with a bunch of arbitrary time gates combined with a lack of player options.
Why couldn’t the event be set up so that everything awards tokens, with the amounts tied to the time / effort required to complete.
Players could then decide which events to play, when to play, whether to use alts, etc instead of being railroaded into specific events gated over weeks ‘just because’.
It’s “the suckiest” compared to what? The previous 19? It is better than any of those. Which of the previous 19 sucked less?
We’re less than a week into it and everyone’s so mad . . . for what? That they don’t have all 13 sets yet?
Whole point is not to have everything in the first week but to have some more engagement until we get the next patch/season. We are mostly done with this patch so an event or two are nice to have otherwise what’s left is fishing. Blizz wanted to push new content faster but for some reason it doesn’t work while trying to lay off your people.
MoP remix was better because it wasn’t time gated. I miss remix.
I think the problem is that we don’t even have 1. You could play 80 hours this week and not earn a set.
Should’ve done something more in line with the Darkshore event. This feels like a week version of the DMF.
This doesn’t sound fun at all. Maybe I would’ve thought it sounds fun before I had an actual job because it would’ve felt like having one. Like when kids play being adults.
I don’t think it’s worse than previous anniversaries. It’s just not better either and given it’s the 20th and there was all this GET READY FOR WOWS 20TH ANNIVERSARY IT’LL BE AMAZIIING hype promo before we actually got it, people probably expected to be mindblown so now they’re disappointed that they aren’t.
I gotta save it for the next Brutasaur XD
Earlier today I was googling how to summon Korrak. The wow head link was to the 15th anniversary having bugged quests which lead to finding out each subsequent anniversary having bugged quests as well. It’s nothing new apparently
Timewalking Classic Dungeons are an easy way to raise Alts.
I think this is also like the Trading Post where Blizzard doesn’t expect players to be able to get all the new Anniversary rewards in a single year.
It probably IS impossible to get all updated T2 sets in a single year, in fact.
This anniversary event is great other than the fact that the tier sets take too damn long to get.
I don’t think it would be unreasonable for us to be able to obtain at least one of the tier sets in the first week.
Also, what’s even worse is that there is no catch up system in place for it.
All that said, I don’t really care about the anniversary “events” because I’ve never really enjoyed things like “story time” or transmog contests or mount contests or any contests really. Sorry you aren’t having fun, but stating you can’t get the rewards is just objectively false lol. I’ll tell you like I tell my 2 year old (who recently learned the phrase “I can’t”): With that attitude, you’re right.
