Look, there are plany of topics about the legendary system Blizz put up in dragonflight, i am not here for that…
I just want to now, how many of you guys are feeling bad like never before in the game, and questioning if you should quit the game while wasting at least 2h clearing the raid every week?
I dont have much time to play, so this 2h realy makes a good part of the amont i have to play…
I love WoW, and this is the first time after 12yrs that i feel like the game is consuming my time without giving me the fun part.
I feel like i a mice running in a wheel… We are all overgeared at this point, clearing HC raid is it not even hard or fun.
All BiS itens always had some sort of RNG atteched to it, but you usualy had a second or third option that would not be crazy different in terms of performance, and not having the BiS item would not gatekeep you (M+ enjoyers will understand)…
Anyway, i just wanna know if someone else is feeling this way or if its just me…
I promised myself if i dont get the axe this before the season ends, like what happened with some Evokers, i am unsubbing for good lol

I refused to even try for the Evoker one, because I won’t deal with low droprate bad design.
If they can’t learn how to add legendaries back in as questlines, then they get ignored by me. Let them rot. I’m a happier person for it.

So it’s yet another “if I don’t get The Axe I’m quitting” thread/ultimatum then.

What would you do with the two hours if you had the thing? Raid?

The more you want it; the odds of never getting it increase
/blizz magic formula

The Desire Sensor is cruel indeed.
But nah I’ve managed without the Legendary before and I’ll do it again.

It’s crazy how rare items are rare.

I’ve known people that quit because of the axe. The bad luck protection system has been terribly tuned. But at least it’s been working to some point to keep people doing the raid xd I wonder if people that are fine with current designs would be as clownish about it if they added an item like it for everyone. I got the leggo on my main and my alt and I still feel bad about it because it’s just not fair for people that don’t have it.
So then why the obsession with the axe? It’s a “nice to have”. Not a “need to have”.

Its a goal for the patch. At this polnt its debatable if its even worth the effort of crafting, but its there and its a goal to reach for and it has no tangible way to be reached beyond current level mount farming strats ie go to raid each week and kill boss and then not get it until you get it. Its not a great experience.
I can’t provide any meaningful insight to the axe question, but looking at what you’ve accomplished, especially with a 3300 iO, with limited game time is super impressive to me. You’re doing something right to make that kind of progress. I can empathize with not getting the fulfillment you want from it, though.

Yep. I think he doesn’t have any copium after all this time and suffering withdrawal.
I’m…more so annoyed they gave us a fiery axe in a druid themed zoned… I mean come on the emerald dream is a druid area, druids should of gotten some love. I mean outside of legion and ones multiple classes could use have we ever had a druid legendary? That and…idk a fist weapon for evoker wasn’t what I had in mind for them so I’ll avoid that. All things considered the abysmal drop rate just kills my interest in the legendaries this expac, along with apparently not able to give recipes for the parts to my alts and commissioning them to make them so I don’t get someone demanding insane amounts of gold to do the job
They could get a version of Atiesh, but that falls under multiple classes can use I guess.
I just can’t imagine being this broken up about a single item… /shrug

In garbo expansion Legion, I didn’t get the BiS Prot Warrior gloves until Antorus, the BiS Arms legendary until 8.3 BFA, and the BiS Fury helm until 9.2 in Shadowlands.

Here’s how I got my legendary in season 2. Do the raid on every difficulty every week, but here’s the important part: You must do it for fun, and forget about loot. Only once you’ve given up the idea of getting the drops you want will they come to you. That’s my strategy anyway. I don’t even go out of my way to look up loot.
When I got the gem drop I had no idea how it worked, I had to look up the quest etc because I never even looked into it beforehand. I also got the sweet 2hand sword from the second to last boss on a transmog roll, because he dropped two of them and we only had one guy that could use it. That never would have happened if it I went in there trying to get the sword on a transmog roll.
So yeah, give up and then maybe you’ll get it.
It’s gonna take you a lot more than two hours to make the thing once you get it. It isn’t required to complete any level of content either.
The raids not even hard…
Tell that to my guild and pugs that can’t seem to down Fyrakk still due to goobers not assigned to seeds grabbing seeds then wiping the raid because they don’t know what they are doing xD
Every pug I went in got hard stuck on Larador this week… People just don’t do mechanics…
Well we have downed Fyrakk but because lack of members we pug a lot of spots and this week was bad…
Legendaries should never be pure RNG.
If Blizzard is going to do that, they can just randomly pick a few accounts each week and give them a big DPS buff. It is basically the same thing.
