I mean there were literally bugged cutscenes in BfA at launch. Alliance players who played day one missed out on the intro cinematic for arriving to Kul Tiras and there was that one Nazmir cutscene that was bugged for like a month or something.
That’s not quite a smooth launch IMHO.
Thanks for letting us know that you haven’t moved on to becoming an adult and still living life as a child. Can’t say anyone is surprised. But there an easy way to deal with people that act you way you do that adults know how to use that children hate lol.
Says the guy that’s mad he can’t play a video game.

Say more things about me because you’re mad about a video game.

i was there playing lol and had 0 issues
if anything u need to learn godd manners
some weird specimens on the general forums
what alternate reality have you been playing in where the launches were smooth?
Cataclysm was a complete mess though… Ridiculous queues and it took me ages to get to the new area in a functional way. The crashed boat for Vashj’ir was a mess and so many quests were in a linear chain and were outright broken. I recall giving up and logging off for the night after a couple of hours of getting nowhere.
Funnily enough cata also had an incredibly mediocre elemental based pre-patch event…
Oh it had PLENTY of issues between key quest NPC’s bugging out and other such things.
It’s an expansion launch, and most of the egregious stuff has been fixed.
Launch was completely smooth for me, I don’t what everyone’s complaining about.
Sho’ got quiet around here.
Where’d all the “I’m glad I didn’t pay for a year sub” folks go? And the experts?
Where y’all at? ![]()
They’re playing that game they hated 3 hours ago. LOLOLOL Thanks for posting these self-owning posts, everybody. It will age deliciously.

Manners are highly overrated and undeserved amongst this kind of petulance.
Your white knighting is almost sickening.
You chose to defend them, fine. You are wrong but that is your choice.
You chose to not see the truth and again that is fine.
Have a nice life, we are done here.
100 times out of 100 rather them delay and get it right then rush and get it wrong.
its not even close.
A launch that never occurred and was postponed by 4 weeks and screwing over a bunch of people.
You’re right its not even close, its far worse
Rather they just not do false promises and overestimate their own abilities.
Only problem ive encountered so far is it took 2 hours for our boat to show up but now it seems to be working. And yeah its unfortunate it happened but its really not that big of a deal now
Also, BFA didn’t force everyone to one point, on top of a tower that people flew up to on their mounts to interact with the one Quest giver. They had a mini solo quest line that helped spread things out before putting you on the ship to your factions island. I think the. mini solo dungeon quest is a good way to slow down and spread out the initial rush we saw with this launch. When Wrath classic launched, it went smoothly, but there were two towers for each faction going to two zones and probably fewer total players. (Though I saw a lot of players on that tower waiting for the Zeppelin to Northrend)
nobody at all was screwed over. They gave a solid amount of notice, and everyone got to play together to start, not half or 1/4 like yesterday.
My friends on dead servers got to play all day and hit 70 before I could even log in. They were doing m0s and chain running heroics and A52 was still offline…
Talk about people getting screwed over.
Everyone getting to start at the same time is 100% not that.
No they didn’t, people that take leave need to do it months in advance.
Original release was October 27th and they didn’t announce the delay until early October.
Lots of people that took time off sat around doing nothing as it had a 4 week delay.
Did you take time off for launch?
If not then its just another day of you sitting at home doing nothing important anyway, surely a couple of days over a 2 year xpac is nothing to get angry about.
A. Taking PTO for a game release is stupid.
B. Having a job where you can’t cancel pto at anytime is even dumber.
C. Having a job when you can’t take PTO whenever is the dumbest.
I’m sorry but I feel zero pity for people who take PTO to play a game. There are zero positives that have ever come from that. Zero.
