I take strawberries, wash them off, then dip them in sugar while they are still wet.

Being more specific, black raspberries are the most superior.
I need to know what Iām missingā¦ Or do we mean blackberries? Because north america has some of the most beautiful blackberriesā¦
I preferred the first oneās story. But the second one was good too. I wish they had made a third, where we get to find out what Revan was up to the whole time.
Where Iām from black raspberries are sometimes called āblack capsā and have a morphology very similar to red raspberries, differing in that they have a black/dark purplish color(when ripe) and are typically not as delicate.
Blackberries are also reffered to as ālong johnsā and have a similar black/purple color (when ripe) but are much larger and have an elongated shape that is more cylindrical than the more sphere like shape of black raspberries.
That being said, many people also just refer to both as blackberries.

Are we talking strawberries freshly gown in your own garden which are sweet and juicy or something from the supermarket that is so tart they need to be covered in sugar?
I grew up with the former. Last batch we did not get any as all the ripe strawberries kept disappearing. One day we saw the dog very gently taking and eating them himself.

Raspberries are just wannabe strawberries that failed the aptitude test.
I was going to vehemently disagree with OP until I saw your extremely well made point. Hmmmā¦ that is a tough one. My favorite berries are fresh picked blackberries from the Pacific Northwest. They have the best flavor of any berry Iāve tried.
Now Iāll have to dip some fresh blackberries in chocolate. For science of course.
