If a game and the people on the game can change your feeling or to a point of controlling them, that tell me you have a lot to learn about controlling yourself. If people in a game or the forum for that matter are able to change your mood or emotion I would suggest you to speak to a Psychologist because something happening in your life or already happen is affecting your mood or development.
A game is supposed to be entertaining. If someone tell you get better, they can be right even can be wrong. I see people in game now like a grey rock. Grey rock a neutral nothing interesting.
Or I am mistaken and what you need is a vacation from the game. That is what I do. I take Vacation from World of Warcraft not because are toxic, tell me to get better (could be true) or else. I take vacation because I might have burn out my capacity to play the game or a new game came out that I wanna focus on or I am just tired of farming.
Lastly, blaming others for your stat of mind is called projection and if you are ignoring this, it will not get better.
