From a raid leading perspective maybe.
If the worst complaint people have is āIts a little repetitiveā I think were in a good spot. I simply do not value your opinion on the fight when the people who experienced it by and large liked it.
Iāll give a more informed opinion in a couple weeks. I doubt itāll have changed though.
It was a dance boss. Something they tend to be good at. Like a ff14 fight. There was very little rng in Gallywix.
I think so too.
People who havenāt play classic or even BC donāt get this. Back in the day unless you are in the WFR (like the top 20 guild) you arenāt going to see any raids. Most WoW population donāt even see heroic dungeons back in BC coz of all the gear checks, the attotement and how tier works (back then you have to
-Do normal dungeons to grind rep
-Buy rep gear
-Earn enough rep and then do heroic dungeon
-Earn more rep to buy better gear
-Starts at the button the Tier or the raid (IE you donāt do Sunwell right away you start with Black Temple first for example).
Not raiding is a lot accessible and thatās a good thing. Everyone can experience it even the casual in LFR to WFR.
the OG way
i just did storymode yesterday and wondered what couldāve been diff on mythic. the robot body separately fighting, so 2 targets to tank/dps, perhaps needing swaps at certain timesā¦black blood weapon stuff, void zones, black blood empowerment of the robots/players getting in the way (like first boss of that cata dungeon with the 3 adds), etc
butā¦none of that? iām surprised
Overall I been a pretty casual since DF and not even more casual for TWW. I feel like raid for DF seems to be harder (at least for LFR I done Heroic raid last expansion but not this expansion). It feels even LFR if you arenāt sure how the mechanics work even mid non end boss you could still wipe the raid and overall raid boss in DF seems more challeneging. Heck even the first raid tier for TWW seems harder?
So far doing undermine in LFR I went in with zero knowledge no mechanics other than watching a few WFR videos and was able to down all the boss pretty easily. You could like not do 90% of the mechanics and not die. Not sure how it compare to normal heroic raid as I donāt plan to do them.
Also this tier for LFR anyways seems to be more of a tank raid rather than dps or healers. As long as the tank knows what they are doing and postion the boss correctly you arenāt going to wipe at all. Again this is in LFR experience.
I think is ok for the most part for casuals. We arenāt really looking for a hard boss like Raszageth or Broodkeeper or Magatha or Sarkareth or Fyrāalath or Tindral for the super casual. I must admit raiding with friends in DF is a lot more fun but LFR was terrible for some of these raid bosses.
Why are you even complaining about the difficulty of a boss you wont even encounter?
i like going in blind to lfr, razageth was fun the few times i did her (didnt start df til 6 months in). I was using ALL my buttons and one of the last few people left alive on our 3rd attempt when we got her.
So glad i can be a casual now but still do some raids
