This is by far the worst mythic boss design since RWF streams started

We might have another Spine->madeness situation on our hands.

you play wow
to play puzzles?.. Well I was wondering why so many bosses are annoying I actually found the guy they made them for.

So they have to be easy to not be annoying? I see.

What a braindead take, considering Metzen will have probably 0 to do with raid design.

I mean
 Yeah?

Fight looks boring and monotonous, especially as a caster DPS. The pull count isn’t even the issue. Sarkareth was low pull count but it was still a good engaging boss.

This just looks like a snooze fest. It’s 1 phase for 6 minutes and you play the whole thing in the same 15 yard square.

I have yet to do the fight on heroic, my guild should be on him this week but from what I saw from normal alone and through video’s Gallywix might be one of the worst end bosses to date. I barely noticed there were mechanics on Normal and I doubt heroic is going to be much better from what I’ve seen.

Heroic was very solid honestly. Each phase was distinct and the fight moved you around the room a lot more especially in P1. It was a good heroic end boss which is all the more reason I’m so disappointed with mythic.

I mean some of the players think a +20 key is easy yet what percentage of players can do one?

It’s like
something is missing.

By easy, they mean it’s basically 2-3mechanics with tank and spank repeat
compare to Mythic bosses. yes it’s easy.

Reason why nobody cares about +20 because it’s pointless to do one
 other than flexing your IO.

A lot of people did. Considering phase 1 on lower difficulties does not exist on mythic in the same sense. Likewise for the following bosses that had phase 1 (or another phase) removed on mythic and had an extra mythic phase

Mar’gok from Highmaul (phase 1)
Gul’dan from Nighthold (phase 1)
Argus from Antrous (phase 3)
N’zoth from Ny’alotha (phase 1)

Meanwhile Archimonde from Hellfire Citadel had a completely different 3rd phase. While the Sha of Fear had a stacking haste buff to get through phase 1 faster provided you reached phase 2.

But it does feel like mythic only phases are a thing of the past. The last one to really have one was Zovaal. Dragonflight never had one for any of its bosses.

but the story will make the bosses engaging

Maybe they just ran out of time and had to release the raid half-baked to meet their schedule.

You’re going to be disappointed in Midnight’s raids just as you are in these.

like i said the story is what makes a raid compelling

Forums can’t decide if they want overly complicated fights requiring a mess of WAs and DBM or more simple fights.

The better raids are for the average player, the better.

how complex do you want it to be to satisfy the minority of the player base and actually require weakauras to finish to make you happy

Does the fella even play

they usually don’t

Idk bosses requiring 500 pulls is bad for most and the raiding scene doesn’t need more damage

Well these are just blatant lies.

Look, if you’re going to make stuff up, try to do so with stuff that isn’t easily disprovable.
