I have done no such thing. I just find it difficult to believe you are choosing to focus on a few cosmetic changes such as optional hairstyle changes instead of truly mediocre gameplay decisions (such as the cloak - where you grind out a currency (coalescing visions) so you can grind out… another currency (corrupted mementos).
If that is what truly upsets you, that is fine and I won’t attack you for it but I also don’t pretend that I understand it.
Ladies and Gentlement, may I present a salty Overwatch player who screamed helplessly as a Mei froze him solid and then walked up, emoted “Sorry, sorry, sorry…” and shot him in the head with an Ice Spike.
He’s now so terrified of Mei being introduced to HotS that he’s run to the WoW GD.
Okay, I can agree with you on that. HOTS has a very halted and lacking development.
But I think you have applied the wrong reasoning for why that is happening. It has nothing to do with pandering, or SJWs, or any of that other nonsense.
HOTS failed to meet the financial expectations of Activision Blizzard. It’s why they axed and fired their entire esports divisions. And the game has been seemingly operated by a skeleton crew ever since.
I’m just trying to figure out what your complaint is here. Also, didn’t you complain in a post above that people weren’t addressing your points and instead attacking you personally? Seems a bit hypocritical.
Really though. You’re complaining about the ‘new races’ in WoW, then when called out on that you say you races can include orcs, dwarves, trolls, etc… So what then, precisely, are you upset about with new races?
I would disagree. And please let me explain to you why;
Heroes of the Storm was never successful. That’s an ugly truth a lot of people don’t want to admit. Heroes of the storm was Blizzards attempt to capitalize on a market they indirectly created, but had no sway in.
The moba market. Heroes of the Storm was advertised to be the casual moba experience to Dota and League. But unfortunately it never drew in that playerbase.
Overwatch heroes were added long after HOTS began its decline. They started adding OW heroes because Overwatch at the time had become one of Blizzards most successful IPs.
The guy didn’t understand my OP and I can’t understand him. This is my thread. These aren’t there forums. I was being courteous in addressing him at all. That’s not going to fly is it. I don’t know what else to say.
What the hell has happened to you players that you think playable races refers to skin color lol
It’s always been Orc, troll, dwarf, human, gnome etc. You wouldn’t be bringing it up with regard to horde as if Orc colors represent different orc races. There’d have to be a lot of specificity for that.
You came in complaining about SJWs and failed to make your point clear. Most people who complain about “teh libruls” are too cowardly to actually state their opinions out loud, so people drew some conclusions.
They didn’t realize that you’re just another furry panicker. Much more boring.
Ah I don’t know. Tracer killed the game for many people, and each subsequent OW hero addition I believe saw a drop in players.
She had a 70%+ winrate on her first few weeks.
She was only available to people that purchased OW on preorder for 1 week prior to her official open launch.
That means people that bought OW had a 75% winrate with a toon even if it was their first time playing a moba because she was that OP.
There were some OP heroes on release of course, but that was more to do with a talent more than anything. Tracer remarkably broke the game as she was the first character to be able to attack while moving which means most characters couldn’t survive long enough to retreat to cover.
Explain this part of your OP then. Enlighten me on how Mei from Overwatch and playable races (such as orc, troll, and gnomes) in WoW are at all related.
