it’s impossible to find a group for anything as a rogue on a weekday. The population is also way too low. Ironforge looks like a ghost town because of layers, and even /who shows only 27 inhabitants across all layers. Blizzard needs to step up their optimizations so that they can support more players on a single layer. Geographical sharding instead of parallel universes sharding, so it plays the same as a single layer but Ironforge is a separate physical server from the rest of dun morogh, etc.
I log in after I get home at 6 am and the population is at medium…
Population always seems fine Horde side. Also, the server is generally not layered at this point, however occasionally it is, and you might see fewer people at those times, but overall it seems pretty busy to me.
They say the new client can support more players on one layer than were supported in vanilla, but I straight up don’t believe them. Must not be adjusting for the activity levels of the players, or double counting alts, or something. This server has been up over 2 months but there are not enough 60s in all the major cities combined to make one molten core raid. Yet it’s still “layered”
Maybe people are still leveling? That may explain why you see few level 60s and no one in Ironforge.
Personally, I’m running in to people frequently while out questing and grinding. Getting in dungeon groups has been challenging at times but not impossible.
Post on your classic toon or we all assume you are just a troll. Server is easily 3 to 1 in favor of horde, so if you are on ally the population is closer to a medium server than high for the overall server.
