If it went free to play, there would be even more transactions. If people think it’s “Pay to Win” now, wait until it goes F2P.
Not to mention the amount of bots would quadruple, in mass. If you look at Lost Ark (Which is F2P), you’d see they have hundreds of thousands of bots.
So no, $15 is not that big of a deal when paying to play a good quality MMO. (Yes, I am Master Shill of the Andals, First of His Name)
There’s nothing stopping people from botting, I saw the same 5 boomkins farming krasarang for 4 years in a row.
This is not a valid argument when Blizzard does nothing to stop botting.
Considering the ridiculous monetisation of their games lately, we 100% deserve free to play.
It should be free to play but raids and 5 mans are behind a paywall like a ride at a carnival depending on the expansion’s raids youre trying to get into.
We would deserve what we ended up with if players got that wish. Which would be a crap game monetized up the nose with little or no new wothwhile content.
The sub rate hasn’t increased in ages and I spend more on coffee in a month than I do on my WoW sub.
Sounds a lot like the game since end of legion.

Comedy Sci-Fi stuff. Basically, stuff happens that causes bugs etc to evolve, and the biggest threat ends up being a giant single cell organism.

If they up it to 30 they’d lose their entire play base. I wouldn’t pay 30 a month for this game or any game for that matter
Name me one free to play MMO that isn’t complete trash without spending at least a subs worth of money it on it each month.
Then stop “rewarding” them if you feel that way. Players support the price of the sub by continuing to pay it. If players really felt it wasn’t worth it, they would unsub, which would eventually force Blizz to adjust their business model.
(inb4 somebody makes the “I don’t pay it, because I sub with tokens” nonsensical argument.)

There is just no way that Wow is worth $30 per month. There are better games that cost nothing and have a ton more contact.
It is free to play if you play.
You don’t need to pay, just buy tokens from the auction house.
