This game is literally

I guess saying you dont buy gold from blizzard means you buy it from blizzard.

I am glad we are on the same page my son.

  1. A slap in the face?
  2. And/so?

You’re are pay to win.

I already did my son.

Congrats? you got 2M gold? I don’t see in that screenshot has to do with P2W. It just looks like somebody buying your gear piece.

Unfortunately, I actually know the definition of “pay to win”. And no. You have not.

First you have to show an actual real money transaction taking place. Then you have to show how you won something in game.

All you did was show a someone asking about the gold price of an in game item.

It’s not pay to win, necessarily. If a player has infinite real life money, there’s still a limit on how many ilvls the player can gain based on what BOE items are on the AH. Also, a lot of character power comes from grinds, like the necklace and cloak.

IMO pay to win means the player has to pay real life currency to progress versus actually playing the game. In WOW, this is not the case.

Yea, i don’t get it either, i thought Scrub here was talking about microtransactions. (Wow Tokens)

Okay, my son, I shall explain to thee.

Someone gets a drop with a rank 3 stars on a boe item. That rank 3 stars can translate to an output of atleast 5-6k dps for me (just an example).

That’s a bigger upgrade than getting a weapon with no corruption from mythic raids and would boost the dps output of any dps.

He is selling that for 1.8m gold.
Of which you can get by selling tokens.
Tokens you can buy with real money.

…from players putting up real gold. What about the guy who does nothing but mining and herbalism and buys the same item? Is he paying to win too?

I mean clearly you can’t buy tokens with real life money and re sell tokens for gold on the AH.

Blizzard would never do such a thing. How could they!? People with no jobs or have a solid income can’t compete with that!
Even that people making more money than other people can not simply compete with that!

Blizzard would never do such a thing to a game love by many!

Funny. The people that were in the world first race relied completely on in game currency and earning gold in game to fund the world race.

Sure, a few people use irl money. But like 99% of it was/is/will be all in game earned.

You have to start by proving it is pay to win! You have not done this so prove me wrong!

Funny limit was in debt of alot of gold at the end of the race. Gotcha.

for proof.

OR you can go to his twitter and search for it. time period and everything.

Yes. I know that. Thats literally what I am referencing.

They are in gold debt. They are going to pay it off with gold. That they earned in game.

I think this is the worst it’s ever been. Just go buy a BoE infinite stars on the AH and blast everyone in 2s. I think it’s kinda stupid which is why I don’t really PVP anymore.

If you’re saying it’s not pay to win, then what is?

I guess you missed the part where he said 40k tokens. But show me where it’s said they’ll pay for it with wow gold that they earned without tokens?

Why do you think they made them BIND ON EQUIP.

To drive token sales.

Anyone who cannot see this is just… Too far gone.

Its basically Diablo 3 real money Auction House but Blizzard get more from it if you pay with your token.

People used to hate Diablo 3 Real Money Auction House, but considering the only remaining playerbase BFA had is the brown nosers, we see less backlash for such obvious system.

Show me the part where they said they are buying 40k in tokens.

I don’t know. I am not the one making a thread saying it is something. I am saying its not pay to win.

Buying gear with in game currency is not a pay to win game.
