Thinking of a Murloc Class

Kind of. I was picturing it like the player could choose one of three dps specs where they use a ranged, melee, or magic build. The murloc can be chosen from any active murloc in the game and it’ll generalize the murloc by the spec it represents. That’ll allow for it to be dps, healer, tank, what have you.

It’ll give you a small skill tree to make your murloc do certain things to benefit your spec as you see fit, be that require healing, more damage or specialized attacks, or taunting more if you choose to be a caster or ranged. It’ll basically just be in place of having specialized pet abilities like hunter pets do.

I guess that could open up for the same thing for hunters and warlocks to be able to “teach” their pets to do special attacks too so you can customize their combat style a little more for individual situations.
