Deciding which class to finally main
The amount of time it will take to get all the alts i want to level done. im gonna be working soon so i wont be able to sink my life into classic like i used to.
Not AV
10 Chars
Letâs seeâŚ
Warriors âaccidentlyâ rolling on my druid tanking rings/trinkets when they signed up as DPS.
Rogues needing on tanking leather that has +dodge.
Noobs rolling on trinkets because âI have no trinket and I wanted one.â
âLol, youâre balance?â
âLol, youâre feral?â
âLol youâre resto? We wanted a priest.â
30 minutes later
âQuit whispering me. I said we needed a priest healer!â
1 hour later
"Hey, um you want to come heal?
"
Shamans.
Tanks who think theyâre god.
Healers who think theyâre god.
People who steal chest when I am clearly killing the mob who was guarding it.
People who take herbs/mines when I am killing the mob near it.
Rogues⌠Undead Rogues.
Mages who troll with portals. (Actually Iâd laugh most likely).
âŚThereâs a classic setting for graphics. I for one LOVE the updated look to it all.
Only thing I am not looking forward to is the time between now and launch
Not having the modern version of Disengage on my hunter alt.
Thatâs pretty much it, really, and that one I can certainly live with.
Thereâs actually a strong chance the enhanced, non-Classic graphics options wonât make it to launch. I asked Ythisens if it was meant to make it to launch during one of his streams and his response was, âI donât believe so.â
- Purist butt hurt.
- Hunter dead zone.
- Walking to the dungeon.
- Tall tales from the Old Guard on âhow things were back in my dayâŚâ
- Raiders destroying a whole BG by themselves.
What Iâm not looking forward to:
The possibility of any expansions.
You can find a guild that wonât force you to healbot.
AHHHH that would suck. Would not change whether I play or not, but I LOVED it on the demo. Got me so excited for the leveling journey in that denser, ânicerâ looking world, and I donât think it took away from classic being vanilla at all⌠especially with the toggle.
I hope it stays.
Iâm indifferent. I can play either way, but⌠honestly the Classic settings being the only settings DOES have the added benefit of me not having to upgrade my computer every two years.
- Picking a faction.
- The hideous water looking like plastic jelly.
- The blue fog from limited view distance.
- Ninja looters in leveling dungeons who just click the white dice on everything.
- Right click reporting when someone gets there feelings hurt by reading something in Barrens chat.
- Elitists who will require warrior tank and priest heals for every leveling dungeon starting in ragefire chasm.
All the BFA QQ (Retailers) pitching a fit over why Blizz would waste time on Classic instead of fixing their RetailâŚ
300ish team for Retail and 20ish doing Classic work⌠Wonder which team is actually enjoying and proud of their workâŚ
Theyâre both enjoying their work and proud of it. The problem is, Classic is good, BFA is not.
Iâm not looking forward to realizing that I want to play a different class at level 45 or something.
Not looking forward to camping 10 wolves/boars/bats/etc NPC with 4 other people at launch.
- I am looking forward to the old game mechanics and questing (if I can get ahead of the flood).
wonât be downloading anything of the sort. frankly though blizzard said they plan on breaking any add-ons that automate anything or go against the spirit of vanilla.
I can agree with this statement. TBC was better then Vanilla, Balance wise. That is why i hope Classic is a success. hopefully we can also get BC realms.
that said, not every guild is going to force hybrids to healbot. sure you probably wonât be joining vanillas version of Method or the like but plenty of guilds donât really have the ability to be super choosy.
spending 2hrs leveling from 1-6 because thereâs 10,000 humans, 1,000 naked elves, and 3 dwarves in the abby. Then another 5hrs just to get to lvl 10.
mind you while all of this time is passing by chat is filled with âLFG hogger raidâ and â[insert p server here] was betterâ debates.
