I don’t know but I literally think about the color coding, especially the damage numbers very often have have wished this was a thing on several occasions.
I will most definitely be looking at these add-ons mentioned soon. Thanks.
Oh, I got one, make Alt Tab disable function a thing to avoid accidentally tabbing out of the game during key moments.
I know I’m weird but… I actually like them as separate bags! Each bag has its own purpose! >.<
As for what I’d like built directly into the game. Damage meters (with all the functionality of Details) and raider.io. I’d like the ranking system built directly into the game. It is for PvP, there’s no reason we shouldn’t have that info readily available in game.
I would prefer things stay the way they are. If a person (like me) likes the base IU, we can use the base IU the way it is. If a person doesn’t, they can use addons to customize it the way they want.
I really hope the game never does this. It is so anti-RP, immersion-breaking and just plain ugly. And it takes up way too much of the screen so it is intrusive to leave open when desired, unlike the smaller bags.
All the things I use addons for would be nice if they were in the Base UI. And I use a lot of addons. However I don’t mind using addons. It’s kind of fun to find them and collect them.
Speaking of, is there any addon that allows you to make keybind using any modifier instead of just Shift, Ctrl and Alt? maybe something like Q+W or Q+1? I tried doing it with macro but it seems like Shift, Ctrl and Alt is the only allowed modifier.
A tracker to display people using defensive cooldowns in your raid frames, and an opposite of the healing projection in raid frames, where you’re able to track the total future damage a DoT/debuff will do to a party member (I don’t even know it that’s an addon, I just thought it would be a nice bit of utility).
It’d be nice to be able to keybind things straight from the spellbook. I’m not sure which addon I have does this currently, I have both elvui and clique downloaded. Most of what I bind straight from the spellbook is things that take up extra bar space that I don’t need to track cds on, like arcane intellect or levitate.
I don’t use them either now, also wish the map pins would give you a different arrow to follow so I didn’t have to refer to the damned map all the time to see where the pin is.
One thing I am deeply glad they are implementing as baseline is a pull timer.
I will agree with this if it is a toggle-able option. I, for one, enjoy having all of my bags spaced out. Not entirely sure why, but it probably has a lot to do with the fact that I frequently split my inventory up. Gear goes in one bag, trade goods in another, consumables in the third, and the remaining two are for junk items/misc stuff that I will either sell or toss into the bank. I do, however, wish that the bank bags were just added extra slots on the bank UI.
As for addons I wish were baseline for the game? I’d say a much more customizable UI. Ability to move action bars around and hide the Actionbar art work (Bartender), as well as baseline ability to move everything within the UI (move anything). Coming to mind, WoW is one of the only MMORPG’s that don’t allow you to completely customize your UI. I get it, someone at some point put a lot of work to make that artwork look good, but there are a lot of people who never look at it as is… and there are a lot of people who love the default UI.
