Like per dungeon? No thanks. Thats a terrible idea.
Thundering was the worst affix they ever made.
And S1 of Dflight had some of the longest dungeons in any season.
Nokud Offensive was 40 minutes, Arcane Vaults ended up at 34-36 Minutes, Halls of Valor was 38 or 40 minutes
Skittish, Necrotic, and Teeming come to mind as worse.
Like I said, right idea of a potentially positive affix, but bad execution: too severe a punishment for messing it up, and not strong enough to be worth min/maxing most of the time.
or wait for bolstering next week and make as many bosses as you want! (if only for a little bit)
Thundering wasn’t even in the top 3 worst seasonal affixes as far as I’m concerned. Infested, Beguiling, and Prideful were all far more damaging to teams being able to plan and execute a given strategy.
At least those didn’t buff the dungeon by 5% each time it activated and had meaningful impacts.
30% increased damage/healing for 10 effective seconds is a nothing burger of an affix
Prideful meant that if you missed or accidentally pulled a single small enemy that wasn’t socially linked to the rest of the pack meant you could wind up getting the Prideful spawn at a time that all but guaranteed a wipe 25 minutes down the road. And then recovering from that wipe could be clunky as well depending where the prideful mob spawned in relation to the nearby enemies.
Please understand, I am not suggesting in any way that Thundering was good. It’s just it was so non-impactful for the vast levels of keys that many groups could clear it as soon as it popped up and it was fine. Prideful forced certain routes upon any group running a key level that was challenging but doable for the group, and even a minor screw-up could kill the key up to a half hour later.
