I just want my otherwise boring work days to be brightened up by nerd ragers coming to the forums to scream because they can’t ERP in Org. Is that too much to ask?
Actually, the comments are fairly heavily moderated, you often seem “removed” notes.
And where would we be without the comments added to quests etc? Players do all the work there and wowhead makes all the bucks…
Now if only they sacked up a bit more and made a playable reptile race.
Then I’ll believe in their integrity.
What I believe that makes a amusing game, or any game, is the spontaneity ,it brings something out of the ordinary. This would be just what the game needs.
My biggest issue is this “event” while it was fun in Wrath was already done before and is unoriginal. It will get old fast and looses fun to most players…played it on ptr for about 15 min and was over it without bothering to touch the quest. Its unoriginal uninspired and is the Force awakens of blizz best expansion pre-event of the past, Its gonna become super annoying lol
I like the event but they should at least update the zombie models. It may be way better if everyone was a specture.
Would it be better if there was good reward at the end?
This is awesome. And people think Ion is a stiff.
He’s a lawyer so yeah.
Well I remember the original event, and how annoying it was. Just gonna stay offline completely until it’s over.
You all have your fun, but I don’t particularly find the event fun.
Also flying moutns are now a thing basically everywhere… soo good luck catching alot of people? People are just gonna afk up on their flying mounts.
“You got Ghool Frienz eh?”
I’m sorry I had too XD.
This is gonna be so fun I can’t wait to go Ash of Evil Dead on some Ghouls!
Also it’ll be leading into the Halloween event most likely (if they follow the month PTR schedule they usually do) so we might get three time the spooktacular fun come October!
nothing to do with the reward as anything given would have to be 475 or higher tbh Im looking at the pre patch even as a whole…Ive done this event b4 already. It just feels lazy and unoriginal and how it plays theres no build up its just auto tons of ghouls and its going to become annoying really fast. So nah reward wouldnt make this better heck from what I see the quest chain is boring and not worth the hassle lol.
Saves time to reuse already developed events. Why on earth would this surprise you? It actually, doesn’t interest me so much based on what I have seen so far.
Really, we should have a poll to find out how many would like to have the event.
I am glad they doing it, hopefully they take steps ahead of time to alter it slightly to not overly annoy those that were not fans of it though.
Personally, I loved it for a while, mainly because I simply logged in like normal and had no idea what was going on at the time, in 2008 or 9 or whenever it was. Was fun to watch it unfolds and figure out what was going on.
While I like things like this, even I got annoyed at not being able to get stuff done after a time.
I read undead slaying gear, I cry, I want it back!
This is what bothers me about the Playerbase and Community sometimes. What the heck does this even mean? Because the World First race was decided already, should everyone unsub? People are playing this game for various reasons. Even if a guild logs on once a week for 2 hours and is only doing Normal Carapace - that is progression for them, and that is how they enjoy the game.
I remember during that WotLK zombie invasion, I had an IRL friend in a long distance relationship. They would play WoW together, doing casual things. And when that event happened, his girl wouldn’t log on because she couldn’t do anything, and he was bummed out that something they shared time together with was being ruined.
I am of two minds on the subject. I had fun during the event. But it is not good to interrupt people’s time and basically grief them.
Maybe make a zonewide warning, or only effect certain zones, or an opt in, like War Mode.
My point was more that prepatch = new systems and removal of any meaningful rewards from raiding. If you really want to ignore a very limited time event just to go do yet again the same raid you’ve been doing for 8 months, sure be my guest but don’t complain that the event gets the way of your fun.
Besides you don’t beed flasks for nerfed/irrelevant content.
This reminds me of going to Disney for the first time and the adults arguing about the cost, and to this day I never got there at all. Just remember never to treat your kids to a promise and never deliver it.
I remember my first time at Disneyland, and the traumatic Disney promises of youth.
I am the youngest, so I was the only one who couldn’t ride Space Mountain. I was not tall enough. They promised me I could ride it next time. But the next time didn’t come for years. I finally did ride it though, but talk about literally feeling small, lol.
I did use that promise for some emotional blackmail though. Like, “since you promised Disneyland, can I have this toy or that snack!”
