They got rid of Flightstones?

I wanted to make a few items but all my flightstones are gone. My awakened stone wings also do nothing. Is this permanent?

new expac all the old stuff doesn’t work now, got to get the new items and new gear.

I just want to make my Spark so I can make an item to help me level. Not sure why they had to remove flightstones since the currency only works on Dragonflight stuff anyway.

Edit: Did they ever say flightones would become obsolete?

Yeah I was going to upgrade my Rogues daggers and… surprise! All gone.

yeah this is permanent and no flightstones arent coming back for df stuff.

It is asinine. Keeping them hurt nothing (altho some sweaty try-hard would have sought a way to exploit it) but it would have hurt nothing to leave flightstones in the game. In fact, taking things like this out at the expansion’s end leaves holes in the game for the people who might someday want to play through things, and monkey around with crafting lower-level gear. But it is almost always been this way, BFA being the only almost exception really, and vanilla stuff way back before they removed it too.

Yes. I’m sure I will want to come back and finish off transmogs but I need the sparks which require flightstones. Why go to the effort of removing them when its easier to just leave them in the game?

Also we cant level DF professions without crafting spark recipes, cant get my bs/eng to 100.

That is annoying. The long route still exists through DMF, but that would take quite a while and will allocate points to TWW first.

That was to be expected, however with the coming of the new expansion – I knew the “Awakened” raids would’ve ended and you couldn’t get Bullions anymore, although I didn’t expect the bullions you already attained to have disappear along with the vendors … :grimacing:

Had a LOT of bullions I didn’t get to use that I could’ve grappled mog items with :sob:
