Anyway, human men just aren’t great to look at in WoW. They went from the creepy cleft lip in classic to pineapple-beards and tiny, crazy eyes. Blizzard is not set on breaking the trend-- unless they’re NPCs. NPCs get to be handsome.

Unless they’re Varian. He took his ugly to the grave.

Good or bad, wrong or right blizzard has crossed that threshold of trying to make pixelated characters look more realisticly human . Let the complaining commence.

different people wear their hair different ways, personally I prefer wearing mine in a bun behind the head because I have rather long dreads and wearing em on top makes my head feel “unbalanced”

Now, just wanted to say that I agree with you. The “cornrose” hairstyle is a bit… odd. And the fade doesn’t work right. If I remember correctly though, the fade hairstyle is broken and isn’t showing up right.

Though I think this hairstyle is fine. What I think is extra good about it is that I think it could work if you wanted to make a nordic character as well.

But this hairstyle? Never seen it on a dude.

I think some of it is Alpha being Alpha. Some hairstyles aren’t sized/shaped for the new face shapes for whatever reason and clip into the front of the head as a result.

Example:
New hairstyle w/ current face shape
Same hairstyle with new face shape

Example 2. Current face shape, new hair.
Example 2. New face shape, new hair.

cornrows does look kinda bad but to me however I have seen some IRL do it. More the hipster cali looking people or seattle who are more modern city like. It’s too niche.

The K-pop looking hair on the oddly overly bulky humans seems a bit odd as well. The fade looks ok just low quality. I personally think I’ll be using that top one on a nordic style character like my warrior myself. A shame I cant have the hair on top but the sides shaven like a more nordic thing.

So what are your suggestions then, hm? You expect what out of these hairstyles? Far as I’m concerned; blizzard’s character creation is still extremely limited. These styles are at least viable for more than just Black characters. I can see the afro being good for anyone. Not distinctly one specific character build.
