As a tank the game is so bad I switched full time to dps. As far as I know a lot of tanks have felt this way and have also left the role leaving que times with a pretty significant increase. And instead of increasing our damage they gave us a threat buff, so still no fun there, plus we still get damage nerfs on trinkets and rings including the new ring… While they nerfed some of the magic tank busters the damage intake is still way to high and overly punishing to make a mistake as a tank.
The game as Ret does feel fun though. Big consistent numbers, good survivability and the ability to save the group from wipes.
I’ve been thinking of playing some marvel rivals though as its probably a lot more fun than sitting in que.

PvP queues get long when your rating gets notably high because the queues are based on rating. The better you are the longer queues will be, eventually.
Not really a lot to do with player count at that point.
As you get to apex ratings in PVP, the number of players at that rating falls off exponentially.
That’s how long it took in Shadowlands in EU, it seemed so much to me I just made that NA acc and everything was fine till this exp, with que times being as long as when I left EU servers
5-10 is already a long que time, now, ques are taking 20+, not 5-10

Probably disagreed with someone or took someone’s farming spot.
I did the stuff to get the new ring and other than that I haven’t done anything at all ingame this week, and I have 7 lvl 80 toons all of them reasonably well geared. I just haven’t had the urge to do anything. I’m not in a raid guild. I don’t want to to mythics with the current state of m+. I’ve been trying to get at least a few items in the vault for each of my toons every week but this week that isn’t going to happen. Maybe I’ll get the urge to do a heroic raid pug over the weekend. Yeah I don’t know why but my urge to log in just really isn’t there.

Stormrage ain’t a low pop server
This has more to do with the Lead Designer not testing the zone which he admits to. I reckon this is the reason for a lot of bugs at Blizzard which has nothing what so ever to do with waiting for a queue during the holidays when people are traveling and buying things at this time of the year. Deity forbid someone had to study for finals too.
There’s an easy solution.
Dont do that.
