In Dragonflight there used to be a racing quest that gave more gold as a reward than any quest in Midnight, and now repairs are 1500g yet no Daily gives more than 1000g. Even an hour of herbalism with full profession gear and a flask yields < 10,000g.
Selling carries and boosts is toxic. It makes this game worse for everyone. However if there is no legitimate source of gold income short of buying WoW tokens then that’s what is going to be. An LFG full of WTS adds.

If you’re running out of gold you’re genuinely not playing the game. You can’t raid log and then complain about gold.
Most of the gold being made happens I’m the first few weeks, when world first players are spending gold like crazy. I barely played due to a new job and managed about a million gold in profit just selling materials. Anything past the first month, and the prices will be drastically lower and you’re going to have to try pretty hard to make anything higher than 10k an hour.

Yeah I think it depends on ppl play. If you just buy flasks and buffs for dungeons and raids then you will be in a deficit for sure. I know that’s how I play and I’ve had to buy a couple of tokens to keep up.
Plenty of gold to be had if you play the game. Doing only dungeon/raid will lose you gold fast though
Are you serious? Dude there are15-20 world quests up every week that give 1k each PER CHARACTER. Every m+ and delve is a couple grand. Professions are easier than ever to make gold, literally all you have to do is press the concentration button and you PRINT gold. I make about 250k every single day just using concentration on lvl 81 alts so you have no excuse. If you have gold problems then you are not playing the game. Period. Quit your crying, at least pretend you are an adult.

Making money is comically easy this expansion. There are so many WQs that pay 900-1100g. Not to mention weeklys that offer chests where you can get anywhere from 3k to 45k gold. I got 32k from a single chest like a month ago. This is a classic case of skill issue
Just go take mining and herbalism.

There is no lack of gold in the game just because we don’t have the DF racing.
New gold isnt exactly so much but I make a lot selling anything that will sell on the AH.

OK let me end this debate right now, because I am the PERFECT person to opine on this.
I literally spent the tail end of my Dragonflight play time on…13 alts, doing every single Racing WQ. I earned a WHOPPPING…1M. Thats One Million.
I have earned three times that in Midnight through crafting alone.
A quick google search could have prevented this post

The weekly event chests usually have 1900-2000k gold. I know the first couple of weeks there didn’t seem to be that many gold world quest but that’s no longer the case. Midnight seems to be pretty similar now to the last few expansions as far as gold goes.
