There will be no anger at all from playerbase for delayed Turbo Boost and Cartel Chips

It’s already one of the lowest participation seasons, I guess they wanted to keep the trend going.

Couldn’t buy wow tokens until WoD actually.

And the puzzling cartel chips make it a lot easier for people to get the gear they need, making them much more likely to buy wow tokens for it:

So basically the gear is on the wowshop. Buy a wow token, get your guaranteed piece of gear immediately.

Yes wow has always been pay to win since the implementation of the wow token but the implementation of the puzzling cartel chips exacerbates that pay to win aspect and makes it much more prevalent than before.

Not sure what it so challenging about that concept for people to understand

Definitely. But does opening up mythic gear to other players affect those raiders in any way? In fact, doesn’t it actually help them push by opening up those later boss drops? I get preserving the loot / challenge thing but after turbo boost and months of renown raid buffs the challenge has been watered down enough for it to no longer matter.

Always people who don’t mythic raid wanting free mythic raid loot.

You could get boosted through a raid, using gold you bought with money.

But you could do it before the raid regardless.

Your list had nothing to do with making it more enticing during cartel chip season.

Its not challenging.

Just like it shouldnt be challenging to understand your list applies to before the chips existed. You have to add additional stipulations to it after the fact.

That was against the EULA to purchase gold with real money before WoD.

Yes as I said before:

In addition to:

This is mainly because:

Instead of:

Pretty simple concept:

Wow token = pay to win

Puzzling cartel chip = more efficient form of pay to win.

I mean, good mythic raiders that have cleared the raid already have the loot so yes? Only non raiders and raiders still struggling need it.

Don’t remember CE raiders being even the slightest bit upset about Dinars in Dragonflight or shadowlands. Is that something I didn’t notice at the time? Mythic raiders downright pissed about the awakened/fated track dinar chip items?

How do you win WoW?

Yup, and we all know it, but for whatever reason not disclosed some folks want to troll that discussion for fun.

Could you also explain how one wins WoW?

Yeah it is very obvious.

Wow token plus puzzling cartel chip = big money for blizzard lol

The people complaining about this will never kill the bosses on Mythic is the problem. Either lack of dedication or skill. Or Both

Idea: Let’s remove M+ and let’s lessen the need to raid and design a better game all around instead of appeasing people who seemingly don’t enjoy the game and never have anyways.

Unironically, if blizzard removed raiding and mythic plus from the game, they would have a lot more resources to use for world building, making levelling fun again, actually engaging outdoor events.

A large majority of the player base are casual players who have never even entered a mythic zero or an LFR raid, the game should be designed around them.

Wow would probably see a huge uptick in subs

Is this your first day?

What are you winning?

Still not pay to win.

Not everyone who doesn’t rush through the content is struggiling.

the flip side of this argument is that since people might have needed to buy more carries to get their mythic item without the dinars, this system actually means less gold via token sales for Blizzard

I been saying this for years but the minority who has fun with that zero permanence gearing treadmill just refuses to accept a dose of reality. Nothing of value would be lost if the current active player base quit today and ended up being replaced.
