They really need to make timewalking 24/7 year round for all the old content. And like in FFXIV give a big lump of gold and xp for levelers for queing old content at least once/twice a day so that new people and people doing other chromie times have shorter dungeons queues also.
People are so used to chores from legion, BFA and shadowlands so when blizzard removes those chores they feel lost and don’t know what to do. It’s sad really.
Reading through this and seeing other furor online, a lot seem to like the chores as it gave them more to do, reasons to log in every day
Dis man spittin ![]()
Pretty much always am my guy. Glad to have you here <3
Why don’t you go repeat all those fun innovative weekly events on repeat and see how efficient that is for you.
Make sure to record your face on stream so we can all see how much fun it is.
Then why do they complain and revolt when blizzard throws a thousand daily and grind chores in their face?
Different audience is complaining about dailies. If you read enough you’ll notice that there are two competing ideologies in this community. Some like the chore, having a reason to come in everyday, they want to be able to grind and farm up everything whenever they want.
Then you have those who would rather have more options, less of a pipeline or forcing of what content they need to do in order to stay relevant.
It’s always been like that
People complained and complained about BFA and Shadowlands because there was “too” much to do and was alt unfriendly, now when blizzard gives the direct opposite and goes back to their roots they complain again. You just can’t please everyone. There’s plenty to do in Dragonflight and it hasn’t felt this good or alt friendly since MoP.
Like I said, different audience complaining.
It’s always been a battle between play styles in mmos, games shift back and forth. Right now it’s more casual and alt friendly, it shifts back and forth.
It’s not the same people who complained about having dailies complaining about not having them lol
“I rushed through every single piece of content at mach-10 speed in a week and there’s nothing to do.”
I’m wondering if anyone bothered to consider that maybe people only play for certain reasons. Like maybe just pvp or just mythics or whatever. Having no content left would be a legitimate issue
If only the pvp/mythic+ players didn’t nerf our content by complaining to the Devs to revert the changes. ![]()
I’ve gone into PvPing, already leveled an alt to 70 and cleared my M0s.
There’s old content I want to do on my alt for transmog, but also I’ve been grinding professions pretty high.
Please no daily wow chores, everyone rally against this mindset, blizzard has finally delivered us a game we can play and walk away from, come back and we are where we left off.
PROTEST ANYONE DENYING THIS IS THE WAY, stop them at all costs, never relent. NO MORE DAILY CHORES! We have seen the light with Dragonflight YOU WILL NOT STOP US!
If you have no life this isn’t the games problem its a you problem log off
Well let’s just keep the complainers at rest then. The chores are done and the alts can resume. We just went through the worst expansions we’ve had, let’s not do it again.
It’s amazing isn’t it?
Love being able to take a break.
But I do understand that some people want reasons to log in every day and they should also be accommodated.
Won’t ever happen lol. One side gets what they want, the other side complains. Back and forth it goes.
Also the suggestion of just running alts isn’t valid. Not everyone likes or cares for how wow does alts.
You literally can’t have both because if you do that, then logging off you feel like you are missing out on the hardcore grindset which isn’t present anymore. Its literally one way or another. My suggestion to anyone grinding hard without anything to do now… make alts, play classic wow, divest your time ingame, achievement farm, mount farm, xmog farm, farm renown.
There is plenty to do, still.
The game should not have to support people who ONLY play mains, and want to play 8 hours a day, this is absurd and why we got Shadowlands and BFA.
Totally get it.
Here’s the reality, that’s not what they want.
Repeating the same thing on an alt isn’t progressing their main.
Mindless grinding for mounts and mogs doesn’t progress then either.
Everything you listed appeals more to the solo casual player rather than the hardcore.
So they’ll complain a lot
The game should support all styles of play. Period.
