Content? There is tons of content in this game. I smack face. Face die. I eat face. Repeat. Tons of content.
Actually it’ll be akin to the story bits found in SL which in fact were part of the main story.
DF will be the same way.
Are you a developer? Have you played them and seen them? No, so what basis does your argument stand on?
As I said earlier, SL had the same thing, all of those things were part of the main story.
Dude, you continue to make me laugh, thanks!
Some people really are totally fine being spoon-fed crap by developers, it’s quite amazing.
That will solve a lot of no content issues for sure.
Did you read anything here at all or did you just look at the most recent post, think you were clever and slam your head into the keyboard for this reach?
You gotta earn their trust just like you did in the legendary wrathion quest line in MoP.
They’re just staying consistent ![]()
I enjoy that I can play other games while having a character that’s relevant.
Dragonflight may not have the endless repeat content, but I think that’s good. The quality of the overland and questing content in DF set a new standard for WoW, and I can look back on my leveling time and my ongoing open world endgame, and say to myself ‘damn, this is actually a fun video game’. Looking forward to the season opening up, and I’m glad that WoW is letting me play other games this expansion.
As long as the patch cadence is good, and it holds this level of quality, I think DF has potential. I don’t mind running out of content, if there’s more regularly, and if the content that I finish was fun.
That would be more akin to Beast Tribe quests like in FFXIV as mentioned by someone a second ago, same with the Wrathion stuff now.
That’s fine, it’s side content, not MSQ.
Literally the next chapter of the story is tied to renown, that I think is an issue.
If people are fine with it, good for them, but not everyone is.
I read a ton of these comments.
These people who play 20 hours a day are upset there isnt very clear hand holding going on and they are malding over it.
You know darn well that the legendary items were required in mop.
So why are you responding to me like I’m one of those when I literally never complained about not having enough content?
I’ve been clear from the start what my only issue is.
This is why people should actually read before responding to threads, because they then make assumptions and start jumping on the wrong person.
I got dragged into a pointless argument about what constitutes content, but I never complained about a lack of anything.
You know what, that’s on me, I didn’t read your post correctly. You put Wrathion into a grind thing and I went to the cloak in BFA. I actually skipped MoP, so I’m not entirely sure with that.
SL’s covenant campaigns were not part of the main story. They expanded on characters that were attached to the main story, but they had absolutely nothing to do with the overarching narrative. Most of the stories in those campaigns were standalone experiences.
Then we will need to agree to disagree then I think.
For me, I found them part of the main story, merely tying up a thread for one of the characters involved in the overall story. The same thing you would see in any fantasy novel. I could name several if you need examples.
I feel like this point of view means you just need a new hobby honestly
Is this what poeole complained heavily about is being forced to play the game daily like holy for once they’ve made this game way more casually friendly and the no lifers have to ruin it with there terrible opinion this game has so much to do has 18 years of content packed into it if you’re bored and have nothing to do maybe try something else or new I highly doubt you’ve completely done everything and it’s the first two weeks of an expansion like wow isn’t you’re life you shouldn’t feel like you need to play daily you should want too you shouldn’t feel like the game owes you more content when you haven’t even done half of it this is a terrible take
That’s also a good point, the cloak in BFA was also a grind and it was definitely required to clear the last boss of the last raid.
I do it every time i see its up. I even announce it to my guild for incase they didnt see it.
The problem with it though is that it lasts 15 minutes and is up once every 3.5 hours.
So potentially you can play for 3 hours, and still not be able to do it.
Its not a reliable activity to do each day.
It really baffles me that people are complaining about nothing to do when we already know that we’re getting more to do on Tuesday.
And then you go do another activity to tide you over until then.
blizz put all the effort on M+ thats what make them the money in the tournaments, not normal players like us. is all for proplayers this days. and streamers that just read the blue post in youtube.
Ya know, I’ve always found this game to be casually friendly, speaking as a mostly casual player.
Could you tell me which post you were referring to by chance?
Yeah, but I wouldn’t call that MSQ story is what I’m saying. We just ran the same things each week until it was high enough for us to not explode.
I think it’s because they want things to do now.
You mean time waster. It’s all repetition once you get loremaster. You literally just do the same events as they spawn, farm the same rares, look for RNG treasures, etc. I think some don’t want the repetition while others want more options of things to do.
Neither is wrong.
-Renown dailies
-Weeklies, bi-weeklies
-Extra activities at certain Renown levels
-Continued campaign at certain Renown levels
-More crafting, or even maybe some gathering
-Exploration
If you’re a casual in the sense of “won’t do raids, keys or PvP”, there’s plenty of content there already. If you’ve already burned through all of the non-repeatables, I fear for your sanity and cholesterol levels.
That’s all it was in SL, too, so I’m not sure what it is about Dragonflight that’s any different. At least with Dragonflight, we have a much larger variety of activities to do rather than a handful of world quests day after day after day.
