The majority of people will absolutely not rush. The vast majority will take the slow plod through leveling. And for the minority who do rush…they’ll hit a brick wall of the reality of Vanilla gearing. It takes time. It takes a LOT of time. Plus, only MC and Ony raids will exist for…who knows how long.
We’ll see.

Who is the “they (They’re)” you speak of? Most of the people on the classic forums talk about taking it slow, not rushing. Additionally, anyone who thinks the big-name guilds are somehow going to power through MC in the first 2-3 weeks might be in for a shock. Folks seem to forget that everyone starts with 0 gold and there will be 0 economy and everyone still has to level professions to support raids trying to “finish” the content. Also, what guilds still run 40-man groups? Good luck with all that rushing…

Most of the people who will be playing, aren’t on the forums. We can tell exactly how it will go by looking at the trends of the general population. You’re probably going to see a leveling trend like you see now. Everyone’s leveled, they’ve been there already, they already leveled to 60, probably multiple times… they’re going to go at their natural pace, which does come in fast.

OT-Kings don’t get tmogged into epic mounts after trying to aqua ninja away from pvp. Lol. I’m watching that again today. It’s a great video against why aqua ninja tactics just don’t work too! A great laugh non the less and I thank you for it “your grace”. Lol.
On topic-Play how you want but don’t cry if you take 2 years and end game just isn’t what you were expecting. It’s all fun and games until you can’t fill a roster. /shrug

And for the small segment of a segment of the population who enjoys taking their time AND challenging content, it’s a double whammy.
I either degrade my gameplay and rush past all the good bits to enjoy raiding OR I lose out on raiding.
Dont think there are TOO many of us though…
Again… why do people feel the need to tell everyone how to play?

I’ll believe there’s no rush when Blizzard confirms without a shadow of a doubt that they will NOT be tacking expansions onto it.
If people decide to take their time leveling and want to raid I don’t see that holding them back from raiding and progressing.
Will you have bis gear and super leet deeps and have run 1 trillion logs to max your toon? Pry not, BUT showing up prepared and not being completely rude to fellow guildies goes a long way at defeating the attendance boss.
Classic has no mythic keystones attached to it. Take as long or short as you choose. Just have fun and don’t give others flack about their play style. Besides you can join a guild and level up with others so when you are 60 you’ll have others to get geared for raids with.
lol there is so much you can do after you hit 60. We have more than one character slot. There is sooooooooo much you have to do even after you hit max level.
What about the experience of those who rush? In my experience rushing is fun. I will make an alt to go slower after my first character is 60.
